I am a University of Florida student , and would ike to say this is one of the most unconstitutional mistreatments of a person , not mention an honorable student that I have ever seen! Since when does one person asking an honest question mean they are inciting a riot!… This is outrageus , and I hope John Kerry knows that the student body will not stand for this and he will pay… sore looser!

This is just more proof our nation is moving towards a police state. John Kerry, you are officially delisted as a true democrat in my book, how could you let that happen, answer the god damn question, thety had to put up with your 2 hours of bullshit, you can at least put up with their bullshit.

And worst of all, INCOMPETENT COPS! When will cops actually know the laws and right our citizens have?

    John Kerry, FUCK YOU!

This incident reminds me of the Vietnam protests. This happened all over college campuses, until it ended with 4 deaths at Kent State University. I blame John Kerry for forgeting what it means to be an American. Is this how we will display to Iragi what democracy and freedom mean. John Kerry, why didn’t you step up and stop this entire insanity, it isn’t a police matter, it is a freedom matter. We, Americans, are tired of having our “rights” removed from our everyday lives by a government that seems, no longer, to care about “we, the people” Our votes no longer seem to matter if cast or not. Our voices fall on deaf ears. Our government takes our children off Iraq, a country that did nothing directly to us as Americans. And now, a Vietnam Vet, that forgot what it means to be an American, Shame on you, John Kerry!

This is what happens on noncompliance to a police officer. In my neighborhood, they don’t have tasers, so he would have been shot, but he shouldn’t have been arrested, he should be put in a mental hospital for his derranged ramlings after the incident.

“unconstitutional mistreatments of a person…” give me a break. Why couldn’t this kid just ask his question and wait for an answer like everyone else? And the cops didn’t kill him, shoot him, use rubber bullets, break any bones, or even kick his ass. They just tasered him. It’s unpleasant at first, but ultimately harmless. If you don’t like how the cops handled it, become a cop and come up with a better way to handle a juvenile like this. It has nothing to do with Iraq, or Vietnam, or Kent State.

I am appalled by the way this young man was treated. John Kerry and his mob of cops disgust me to the point of a turned stomic.

i can only hope that this video can gain some national attention on this incident. Also, thank God that there was video evidence. This is truly something i thought our government was above, something you must see to believe.

Where any of the people that made the prior comments watching the same video I saw (the one on this web site)? John Kerry, though no hero, has no responsibility over how the police at the event acted and if you listen to the video was trying to answer the students questions but could not get a word in edge wise because the student wouldn’t let him. There was no reason for the student to be tasered but trying to blame Kerry is narrow-minded and just plain dumb. I krenge at the thought of what republicans will do with this and how it will be distorted and lied about to futher their own cause. It’s already happening on this site, people try so hard to find something they can hold against a person they forget to find out if it’s true or not. And blaming Kerry is just plain wrong.

The video is not nearly as disturbing as the spelling and grammer of the respondents. Here is a clue if you do not know how to spell the word better to not use it.

Because he’s a bit of a jerk. But that isn’t illegal, and has nothing to do with whether he was mistreated, dimwit.

Kerry himself has said that the police needlesly interrupted a fruitful discussion (but he couldn’t see what was happening and didn’t know the kid was tasered until later).

Is that satire? Or irony, because you really are so stupid that you don’t know how to spell “grammar”? And you need a colon after “clue”.
