Israel Mireles, the man last seen with Emily Sander, has been caught by police, awaiting homicide charges for Sander’s death.

Most of the media (including us, admittedly) focused too much attention on Sander’s personal life at the time of her abduction.

Yes, “Zoey Zane” was the moniker used by Sander when posing for adult websites - so what? She was also a young woman, murdered for unknown reasons. You tell me which one matters more.

At the very least, her family can find some level of justice with Mireles behind bars.

Victoria Martens, girlfriend of Mireles, has also been found. No word has come forth about her involvement (or lack thereof) in Sander’s death.

The search for the missing college student turned internet porn model appears to be over.

The body of a young woman matching the physical description of Emily Sander, aka Zoey Zane was uncovered late this afternoon amongst the tall grass alongside Highway 54 , about 50 miles outside of El Dorado, Kansas.

Sander was reportedly last seen last Friday, leaving an El Dorado bar with Israel Mireles, 24. Suspicion of foul play was confirmed when a large quantity of blood was found in Mireles’ hotel room. A nationwide manhunt for Mireles is still underway.

Rumors began to surface earlier this week suggesting the 18 year-old was living a double life as internet porn starlet ‘Zoey Zane’. The rumors were later confirmed as fact by her older brother Jacob. Authorities do not believe there is a connection between her ‘naked‘ past and her disappearance.
