All you have to do is replace “watch” in any YouTube URL with “warp.swf,” and you’ll be cast off on a journey of visual browsing so sweet, you won’t stop until someone unplugs your computer. Here’s an example: (more…)
With the gut-wrenchingly hillarious “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” kicking off it’s new season Thursday, we did what any good fan does, and started looking for clips online. That’s when we came across the episode, “The Nightman Cometh,” which is about a musical written by Charlie. In the musical, they sing the annoyingly catchy song, “Dayman,” which is awesome in its own right. But after a commercial was put together of fans covering the song, YouTube became loaded with clips of people (often badly) covering “Dayman.” Here are the 20 best (or worst, we can’t decide) “Dayman” covers. More than 100 schools have partnered with YouTube to make an official channel, including Stanford, MIT, Harvard, Yale and the first university to join YouTube: UC Berkeley.
There are promotional videos like campus tours, but the more interesting content is straight from the classroom or lecture hall. Many schools have posted videos of guest lecturers, introductory classes and even a full semester’s course.
Late night TV ads can offer up some pretty great crap, actually. But the enthusiasm is usually completely over the top, and the example uses for the products often make about as much sense as Amy Winehouse. Which is why they should just adopt this style of salesmanship. [Language is slightly NSFW]
I’m not sure what it is about watching a person freak the f**k out that is so great. But whatever it is, this video has it. As a side note, if I’m ever caught screaming like this on video, just kill me before someone puts it on the Internet.
Kids, this is what happens when you do too many drugs. You end up in the street, spastically dancing like a maniac for strangers who throw coins at you and put your dumbass up on YouTube. Either that, or Japanese people are just more strange than I already thought.
