The Don Of Dons: New Godfather II Multiplayer Is Badass

godfather2

Bad Brando impressions at the ready: Godfather II, out on PC, PS3 and Xbox360, will come with an all new multi-player mode allowing up to 16 wannabe Mafia bosses to “think like a Don” – which presumably means coming up with devious and blood-splattering ways to dispose of your fellow Mafiosi.

Adding another dimension to the merciless killings and horse heads in beds action, you’ll be able to wager currency clocked up in the solo mode against your online performance, as well as recruit other players to join the ranks of your crime family.

Set against the backdrop of the 1960’s organized crime world, you can see who’s the ultimate Don of Dons on April 7th when the game’s released. In the meantime, check out more info here.

E3 DON’T STOP : Sequels We’re Excited About

E3 rages onward, and like any gaming expo, one of the main orders of the day is the sequel. Some people hate sequels, and rightfully so. A sequel done poorly is just a rehashing of the original game with new stuff added that either ruins what was fun about the original or just feels boring. Take Unreal Tournament for example. The 99′ edition was bitchin’. Every release after that, less so. They announced UT3 today and no one gives a shit because nothing feels fresh and all the old classic stuff that people loved has been squeezed out. (more…)

More from E3 : PS3 Loses Another Exclusive Property

I don’t like to talk about how the XBOX360 is better then the PS3. I own a 360, but I’ve played the PS3 and I like it just fine. It’s a solid platform and the game I played on it (Ratchet and Clank) was quite fun. However, if you can’t read the writing on the wall that the PS3 is hurting, you’re either completely blind or hopelessly obsessed.

Yesterday at E3, Square Enix showed a trailer for the next game in their hyper-popular series, Final Fantasy. A series that was first a Nintendo property, and then at the turn of the console wars (when the N64 proved to be the weaker system) swore allegiance to the Playstation platform. Until now. The next game, Final Fantasy XIII (which looks, for all intents in purposes, gorgeous but pretty standard) will be available for both the 360 and the PS3.

New “Halo 3″ Clip Unveiled

Halo 3
September 25 can’t come quick enough for fans of the Halo franchise. Early reports on Halo 3, easily one of the most anticipated games of all time, have been more than favorable; but outside of the gaming elite nobody has seen concrete evidence.

The most recent clip puts all doubt out the door, with more emphasis on action than previous trailers. FPS fans shouldn’t worry any further, as Master Chief’s latest fragfest is gearing up to be a bonafide showstopper.
