Everyone’s going gaga over the new Bond girl, Berenice Marlohe. We agree that she’s a real looker, but there have been some legendary ladies who’ve paved the way for her. My personal favorite Bond baddie has been (and probably always will) be Xenia, played by the seriously sexy Famke Janssen. Onatopp of her Goldeneye appearance, other memorable roles include the sexy/nerd teacher from The Faculty, Jean Grey/Phoenix in the X-Men movies, and Liam Niesson’s ex-wife in Taken. After looking at these photos of the birthday girl (that’s right, she turns 46 today) you’ll agree that she looks amazing on both the big screen and on your home monitor. Check out the sexiest photos of Dutch model/actress Famke Janssen after the jump.

Not too long ago COED received an invite to check out a preview of the new X-Men Destiny game. Being a huge comic book nerd, I jumped at the chance to go check out the game and the next direction X-Men video games were headed. Unlike previous X-Men games, you don’t play as the classic X-Men characters. I know, I know, that sounds like it is a horrible idea. Why would you want a game where you don’t get the chance to slice up bad guys with Wolverine or melt face with Cyclops? I’ll tell you why and a lot more in the review after the jump!

Thanks to my buddy’s Optimum Rewards card, I was able see a late night screening of X-Men First Class last night. For those who are familiar with the film’s premise, you might be wondering how in the world it’s racist AND stereotypical? Sure, it addresses racism, but how can it be racist itself when it’s about a young boy who overcomes the friggin’ Holocaust to kick some ass and bend some metal? For those of you who’ve seen the film, you know EXACTLY which scene I’m talking about. Find out after the jump then let us know if you agree by voting in our poll. WARNING: THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS!

We may only be in the early weeks of spring , but soon enough summer will be on the way and with it comes the season’s kick-ass blockbusters! With so many films offering up loads of explosions, laughs and more CGI effects than Michael Bay can shake a stick at, it’s easy to lose track of the good films and accidentally drop some cash on a real box office bomb. To help ease your movie-going experience and get some bang for your buck, we at COED have compiled a list of the 2011 summer movies that won’t suck, and – more importantly – shouldn’t be missed!

COED’s Most Anticipated Movies of 2010 hailed the film adaptation of “Arrested Development” as the most eagerly awaited release for this past year. So, what makes us want to see a movie? It could be our admiration for certain actors or directors, or it could be as simple as a bad-ass poster or tagline. Whatever the case may be, we’ve combed Variety’s Film Release Chart for the movies releasing in 2011 that could be on your “Best Of” list come this time next year. Without further ado, COED presents our list of the Most Anticipated Movies of 2011. See the full list after the jump!

After the early success of The Expendables, it’s only natural that word of a sequel is already out. Everyone will have their speculations as to what actors should join the greatest action ensemble ever, including me. Although there are numerous unknowns who’ve cut their teeth in dozens of action flicks, The Expendables 2 deserves more household names and faces to share the explosions and fighting that gave every man with a pair a grin from ear to ear. Hopefully Arnold (if politically possible) and Bruce will get more screen time in the sequel, but the following actors should definitely be considered for major roles regardless.

COED’s Most Anticipated Movies of 2010 hailed the film adaptation of “Arrested Development” as the most eagerly awaited release. Talk about your all-time c*cktease. Looking at this year’s tentative slate of box office hopefuls, you might think Hollywood is unoriginal. Even with with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley replacing Megan Fox, Transformers 3 has no chance of erasing the soiled diaper that was Revenge of the Fallen.

Gone are the days when men would rule the “tough guy” roles in film. More and more women have made their way into the leading roles where strength and tenacity are key. These women have fought everything from zombies to psychotic murderers, all while bringing class and hotness to the screen. These are the truly badass women of Hollywood and it’s time they get some recognition.

Those crazy filmmakers right? In order to come up with all those crazy, out-there, idiotic ideas we see in movies these days they must be on some kind of super drugs right? Not necessarily (although let’s not rule that option out just yet.) Almost all movies these days are based in some reality, or at least a widely accepted reality. Even the craziest movie idea has some real world basis — and with that said, here is a shortlist of ones you may not expect.

We all watch movies…but have you ever watched a movie and said, “what was this director thinking?” or “how is this guy still making movies?” Chances are that answer is yes. Bad, overrated and delusional directors infect our theaters and televisions. They must be stopped!

With Comic-Con comes new movie trailers featuring our favorite superheros, and while Marvel has said for a while that a Wolverine movie was in the works, no one has seen any real footage of the film. Until now. This weekend at Comic-Con, in front of a live (and excited and probably costumed audience) Marvel finally released the first real trailer of X-Men Orig… Click to read more
