July 17th marks the anniversary of Disneyland’s opening. While many of us East Coasters opt for Disney World, we hear Disneyland ain’t so bad either. In brainstorming ways to honor this momentous date, we thought maybe we could do creepy and/or awkward pics of scared kids with characters or the most dangerous rides, but when we saw one of the vintage posters it was a no-brainer. Remember Nick Pitera, the guy everyone all over the internet is calling “The One Man Disney Movie”? If you don’t, Nick’s got the insane ability to sing songs from various Disney animated films whether they are sung by the hero, heroine or villain quite well – some are better than others to tell the truth. A few days ago, a fan of Nick’s work put together this video mashup of his voice edited along with the musical numbers from Disney movies and the end result is nothing short of fantastic. Nick’s certainly got a bright future and Disney would be crazy not to hire him as a voice actor… but they might just send a bunch of their legal goons in Mickey ears to show up at his door, strong-arming him to cease and desist.
