Hey look everybody, it’s the first trailer for GTA V! If you haven’t seen it yet, prepare yourself because you’re about to see… a plane flying! And a stopped car with an digital mamacita strutting her binary stuff! Am I missing something here? This minute and half movie compiled of various cut-scenes really doesn’t show anything that’s worth going on about. Are you still going to be able to fly? Of course. Kill hookers? That’s a given. I’m still waiting to be impressed. See what everyone’s hyped about after the jump.

In the past decade, Spider-Man has gone from comic book character to cultural icon. During that time, the web-slinger has kind of become an obsession of mine. When COED got invited to preview Spider-Man: Edge of Time, I was naturally pumped to check it out. The concept seemed impressive but I needed to play the final version before I made my official decision. Now that I’ve finished it, I can let you know what does and doesn’t make my Spidey Senses tingle. Click the link to read our review and to find out how to enter our giveaway.

If you are anything like me then you absolutely love merking zombies. There is no better feeling than putting a shotty right up to a zombie’s domepiece and saying Sayonara. Well you can do exactly that in Techland’s new first person, zombie shooter, “Dead Island”. The game is set in the Palms Resort, in fictional Banoi, located off the coast of Papua New Guinea. A young girl and her family are on vacation when a vicious, zombie outbreak occurs. After watching the trailer, if you don’t want to avenge this little girl and her family then something is seriously wrong with you! Be ready on Sept. 6th for the release. Check out the Memento / Tarantino-esque carnage after the jump!

Mortal Kombat is good for so many things: techno, awesome video games, and turning people in babies. The thing it wasn’t good for though, was live-action films: until recently. These Mortal Kombat: Legacy mini-films have been out for just a little bit, but the final episode (12) is due to come out sometime during Comic-Con. Check out the first video above and then head to the youtube channel found here. Enjoy.

Back in December, the Brothers Mario took back the Mushroom Kingdom from the crime lord Bowser and his Koopa Troop. Now, the brothers have some monkeys on their backs – quite literally! The Kong crime family, led by Donkey Kong, are moving in on the koopas’ turf, leaving a reluctant Bowser with only one option – getting help from the Brothers Mario. The monkey sh*t hits the fan after Mario kills Donkey’s nephew Diddy, driving everyone bananas (I swear, I’ll stop with the simian-related humor). Non-gaming folk might get a few laughs from this, but if you’re a Nintendo geek like me, you’re going to get giddy over the references to the game series and The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! This is a video you can’t miss!

More than a dozen years after it was officially announced, the next title in the Duke Nukem franchise, “Duke Nukem Forever” will release on May 3rd for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows. Our jacked up, foul-mouthed, stripper-loving bad-ass with a blonde flat-top has been described as “”a combo of John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, and Arnold Schwarzenegger”. Not shabby. I once spent an entire vacation in the Grand Cayman Islands playing the arcade game. No joke. That would probably explain my amazing success with the ladies. Anyway, lots of classic Duke Nukem in the trailer and our photo gallery after the jump!

We’ve already stabbed, shot, dismembered, impaled, poisoned, and bludgeoned hundreds of baddies in Assassin’s Creed and Assassin’s Creed 2. In Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (out today, 11/16, on all major consoles), everything that made your stab-happy heart go aflutter in prior AC games gets turned up a notch, and Ubisoft has a few spring-loaded tricks up its sleeve, so watch your back.

Keep you girlfriends close and your gun closer. James Bond is heading to town and he’s bringing a world of hurt and heartbreak with him. Bond’s new adventure, 007 Blood Stone hits shelves November 2 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo DS, and PC and from what I’m seeing being Bond in a video game has never been closer to the real thing.
