The good folks of Condé Nast are having a good ol’ time with all the publicity garnered from last week’s controversial New Yorker cover cartoon, which depicts Sen. Barack Obama and his wife Michelle as terrorists infiltrating the White House. So, to spoof their downstairs neighbors, Vanity Fair has created a cover of their own. This time it’s a (believably) geriatric McCain. But which one is better satire? You decide:

Oh, how Katherine Heigl has grown up.

From B-list boob-bouncer in Side Effect (see video after the jump if you consider yourself straight) to COED Magazine interviewee to full-fledged TV star on Grey’s Anatomy and beyond, she’s become wildly successful through the years without a “scandal” to bolster her popularity.

Her most recent career success was landing the cover of January 2008’s Vanity Fair Magazine, where she looks gorgeous as usual. Katherine Heigl, I tip my hat to thee.
