Pat Riley masterminded a brilliant trade as the Miami Heat traded Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks to the Toronto Raptors for Jermaine O’Neal, Jamario Moon, and a lottery-protected first round draft pick. Basically he dominated former NBA Executive of the Year, Bryan Colangelo, and now has a team that can make some waves in the East this postseason…

With trailers popping up for his new movie The Day the Earth Stood Still pending release on December 12, we are reminded that in the movies Keanu Reeves is the answer. In shocking news out of the NBA earlier this week, the Detroit Pistons traded Chauncey Billups, Antonio McDyess, and Chiekh Samb to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for Allen Iverson. On the surface, this appears to be a win-win trade for both teams – but for the Pistons, this deal opens the door for so much more.

We are nearing the point where a Josh Howard for Ron Artest swap would have been a character upgrade for the Mavs.
In a recent YouTube video, Josh Howard was filmed at Allen Iverson’s charity flag football game in July ‘voicing out his true colors’ during the American National Anthem.
When the camera panned to the direction of the recently… Click to read more

We think so. Not that our word is worth jack – we know chicks, boobs, liquor and sports…and we know them well. However, given the recent sh*t storm of the Russian/Georgian conflict, even we knew this was coming.

Despite her tragic falls last night in the fight for the gold against the uber-jail-bait Chinese gymnastics team (who won), 20-year-old Alicia Sacramone is still our favorite high-flying hottie. She’s cute as can be, and fills out the spandex better than any other gymnast in Beijing this year–maybe ever. Oh, and did we mention that she’… Click to read more

#6 University of North Carolina
Number of 2008 Olympians: 14
Sunny North Carolina owns the U.S. women’s field hockey team, with six of their olympians in Beijing for that sport alone. In fact, every single Olympian from UNC is female. This is the first Olympics since 1996 in Atlanta that the U.S. has had a qualifying field hockey team. And they snagged t… Click to read more

Campus Squeeze recently put out a list of “The 20 Ugliest Colleges in the USA” as a follow up to their “The 20 Most Beautiful Colleges in the USA” list published back in August.

Hooters? Depressing? You donât say. All Iâve ever had to do was take a look at the horrible orange and white paint job adorning the outside of most Hooters restaurants to know those places are a bevy of bad taste and depression.
Oh yeah, and fifteen year olds.
In my town, Hooters was the place adolescent boys with fake IDs and too much cologne spent their Frid… Click to read more
