I was surfing the new today and ran across a story on City Rag called Pot Break that features images of celebrities and common folk like you and I getting stoned in NYC.

It reminded me of a COED story from way back when called 13 Celebrity Stoners Caught on Camera.

Celebrities are stalked by the paparazzi 24/7, so it’s inevitable that the camera Nazis will nail their prey indulging in high activities from time to time. It’s the Hollywood way.

Only problem is the pictures are a little too risque for the likes of print publications such as US Weekly, People and others. That’s why we pulled them from the vast archive of the internet to serve to you on a digital platter.

The NY Post is reporting that Tony Parker has been cheating on his wife Eva Longoria with a French model named Alexandra Paressant.

Paressant told the Post that “she met Parker at his July wedding, and after weeks of exchanging explicit text messages they had their first tryst in September at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Paris.”

“She further revealed that some of Parker’s sexual fantasies were not fulfilled by his wife Eva that led to the fling.”

“We had room service. He said that Eva, sexually speaking, does not want to do certain things. She does not want to make love in front of a mirror, does not like [a] certain position and thinks that sperm gives acne,” Paressant told US Weekly.

So who is this Alexandra Paressant lady that’s been rocking Tony Parker’s world better than Eva Longoria, who happens to be #10 on COED’s list of 2007’s Hottest Athlete Wives?

I’ll admit it: I log onto sites like Perez Hilton almost daily.

Why? Mostly because I’m avoiding work that I should be doing—a writer who hates staring at a computer screen spends a lot of time procrastinating—but also because I like the idea of watching celebrities act stupid. It’s lame, and a little selfish, but watching someone who’s got more money and power and status than I do make horrible life or outfit decisions is entertaining to me.

Am I jealous? Maybe a little. But I think the biggest motivator to peruse gossip blogs is the desire to break though the façade of Hollywood. I just can’t believe everyone is that cool and calm and collected and beautiful all the time. The writer in me wants to see the reality behind the fake tan. (more…)

The alarm screams at 7:54 AM, tearing me out of dream in which I was awkwardly going back to my high school prom. I am already not a fan of this day.

I do my best to get up and into the shower without falling asleep and slamming my head against the tile wall. Running downstairs, gulping a few spoonfuls of cereal and grabbing my keys, I make it out the door just in time.

The rain and 45 degree day seem fitting. As does the a**hole who cuts in front of me and then stops short to stare at a dead squirrel in the middle of the road. I’ve forgotten how much I hate driving. Going back to New York will be a blessing in one big, public transportation way.

Snagging a gynecologist appointment at home was a stroke of luck, but as I pull into the familiar parking lot, I can’t help but feel the pre-visit jitters. It’s not that I’m afraid of those stirrups and cold metal speculums, I’m just not happy to see them. Ever. (more…)
