Kiplinger’s just released its ranking of the best value schools broken down into two major categories: public and private. Their rankings are based on a combination of academics (SAT or ACT scores, admission and retention rates, graduation rates) and affordability (total expenses for in-state vs. out-of-state students, average debt per student at graduation).
