Oh, October. A sweet, sweet month highlighted by the NFL and NCAAFB seasons in full swing, the NBA and NHL seasons getting underway and, of course, the MLB playoffs. The crux of the American sports universe lives here and it’s a wonderful thing. The race to the Fall Classic begins today and what else for a quasi-journalist to do other than make predictions that are bound to be wrong and to face intense ridicule. Sorry, I can’t pick everyone’s favorite team to take home the Series trophy, so here is how I see it.  (more…)

The Shannon Twins might be bigger fans of Playboy than us, and they might have just scored themselves a bedroom in the mansion. See, not too long ago, it was starting to look like Hugh Hefner’s Playboy days were going down the tubes. First came the reports of Playboy’s speculated bankruptcy – which, after all the bullsh*t that’s been going down in the financial markets these days, seems like an F’ing picnic. Then we find out that all three of his Girls Next Door girlfriends are f**king other dudes – Criss Angle and Joe Francis, of all people. Talk about a kick to the proverbial nuts – replaced by a douchebag magician and a dude who’s like the low-rent, Jersey Shore version of yourself!

But then we came across BuzzFeed today, and realized that his fortunes haven’t all gone to sh*t: Meet the 19-year-old Kristina and Karissa Shannon otherwise known as Shannon Twins and Hugh Hefner’s new slumber party favorites. Both models from Hollywood, CA, these teenagers fill all the criteria that Hef has for a woman – young and blond. Which, if you’re going to only have two criteria, is a pretty good way to go. You know, we were just starting to feel sorry for the old brute. But in light of this new information – f**k that!

Welp, it’s Monday, again, and you know what that means! Another Week In Re-Boob! We’ve got all the hottest galleries the interweb has to offer. So don’t worry if you missed any of last week’s skintastic sexiness, we’ve got you completely covered. You might want to take a deep breath before diving into this one.

Isn’t it every guy’s fantasy to bag two sisters? Better yet, at the same time? And even better yet, if they are twins – and at the same time? Come on, fellas. Right? It was as if she didn’t waste her time and energy with small talk and getting the favor of all the guys. She zeroed in on one guy. Tonight, it was me, lucky me. I mistook her reserve, as we danced on the floor of Beta, as shyness or boredom: Then we went to her room, and she just crushed me with her passion. USA Today has confirmed thats Cy Young award winning pitcher Johan Santana has been shipped off to the New York Mets.

The New York Mets have agreed to a trade for two-time Cy Young Award winner Johan Santana, giving up four prospects to acquire the left-handed ace of the Minnesota Twins, according to two high-ranking Twins officials with knowledge of the talks and a person close to Santana.

The deal is pending the Mets and Santana reaching agreement on a six- or seven-year contract extension and that Santana passes a physical; they have been granted a 48 to-72-hour window to do so. Santana has a no-trade clause that he will waive if agreement is reached on a contract extension.

The Mets paid a high price in prospects to land Santana, agreeing to send the Twins outfielder Carlos Gomez and pitchers Phil Humber, Deolis Guerra and Kevin Mulvey.
