“Jack and Jill”, the latest movie from Adam Sandler’s production company “Happy Madison” finished second behind “Immortals” at the box office in its first weekend of release with $25 million despite receiving a paltry 3% rating on RottenTomatoes. We honestly thought South Park was kidding when they showed us their version of the Jack and Jill trailer, but nope it’s real and somehow it’s profitable. Many, including myself, wish Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore were never made because it allowed for the creation of Happy Madison, which has released such gems as Paul Blart Mall Cop, Zookeeper, The Benchwarmers, The Animal, and Deuce Bigalow European Gigolo. November 11th is Mark Sanchez’s birthday. On this day, the Jets signal caller turns 25. Mark’s acquired a number of nicknames over the years – Sanchize, The Dirty, and most recently Flinchez for his embarrassing display against the Bills in Week 9. Being the top gun in New York is no walk in the park and Sanchez has handled most of the criticism and skepticism fairly well. From the backlash over his homoerotic photos in GQ to eating a hot dog during a game to banging a 17-year-old, it seems Mark’s been a marked man. Through it all, though, he’s kept winning ball games – none of which were pretty but a W’s a W. The site contains baseball infographics and “other visual treats” like the Mets and Yankees logos but in the other’s teams color schemes. Mind blown yet? Anyway, I’m a Mets fan. Occasionally, I watch the Yankees. Mets games take like 2 seconds. Everybody strikes out then someone sac flies a guy who got on because of a three-base error to win the game. Meanwhile, Yankees games are like epic Roman tragedies with 8 intermissions. I have to shave once the final out’s recorded. Well, I finally have proof that Yankees games should only have 6 innings. October 5th is Ray Kroc’s birthday. Who the f*** is Ray Kroc? He was the genius that bought out some local burger joint called McDonald’s back in 1954 and turned it into the juggernaut that it is today. Although Kroc died back in 1984 of heart failure (I’m thinking too many Big Macs or an intense lap dance or possibly both, the dude was 81) he will always be remembered for changing the way the world eats, but there are many things about the iconic Golden Arches you might not know. There are currently 10 “Lifers” active in the MLB. A lifer is defined as a player who has played his entire career with one team, and who has been on that team for more than 10 years. The most obvious example of a lifer is The New York Yankees’s, Derek Jeter. There are nine more lifers in the MLB.

To ghost ride, frequently used in the context of “ghost riding the whip” (a “whip” being a vehicle) is when a person puts a car in neutral (or allows it to idle) while the driver and passengers exit while the car’s still rolling and dance beside it. Other variations include “Car surfing” on the hood or roof.
