Now that the President has shown everyone in the world what $8 Billion worth of military and interrogation research can yield, it is time we ponder where the money was best spent. Yeah, yeah, yeah – waterboarding seems to get top billing, but if 9/11 mastermind can withstand over 200 sessions, we think the alternates should really get a chance.

Sequels, Remakes, Reboots and “Reimaginationings” have been Hollywood’s bread and butter over the past decade, however movies like 2008′s Rambo and Alien vs. Predator wouldn’t exist without the original classics from the decades before it. If you’re a guy and haven’t seen these movies, you better speed, shoot, fight or explode yourself to your local Blockbuster, add them to your Netflix Queue or find them on eBay because they’re all must sees.

If you’ve done time in a High School, chances are you got yours as a 9th grader, in one way or another. That first year (of fear) was so magical for me that I developed a glandular problem, thanks to the amount of sweating needed to keep my ever quivering body cool. So in a tribute to the good ol’ days, here’s five classics that I don’t miss, but would take any day over getting my ass burned with boiling water.
