Batman is one of the most iconic comic book heroes in history and his battles with The Joker have been things of legend. Now, what if Batman and the Joker were an old lesbian couple instead of arch-nemeses? There would be a lot more dildos and batsuits with nipples, that’s for d*mn sure. The Joker would trade in his purple suit for a purple suit made of flannel and the batcave would reek of fish even though their aren’t any fish to be found in the batcave. First, let’s define “memorable” – it’s something that’s worth remembering or easily remembered. So, for our list of most memorable movie dudes, we took both meanings into consideration – male characters that are both easily remembered (you don’t need hints, clues, or the like) and WORTH remembering. That’s the key word here – worth. There are thousands of great performances or great actors who can bring any character to life but these male CHARACTERS are the ones we know right off the bat and are okay in our book. Check it out in our slideshow then vote for the most memorable in our poll after the jump.

Everyone’s heard of Batman, but have you heard of Grant Morrison? Because he’s done what the Joker, Two-Face and all the others couldn’t – he’s the man who finally killed The Dark Knight. Morrison is the famed comic book writer behind Batman R.I.P., where Bruce Wyane is killed, and Batman and Robin, where the first Robin – Dick Grayson – has to take up the Bat-mantle. But, as with most comic characters, Bruce Wayne didn’t stay dead forever, and with the recent hardcover release of The Return of Bruce Wayne, Grant Morrison’s work is once again in the news. Here’s a look at some of both the professional and personal highlights of one of comic’s consistently creative, popular and controversial writers. Check out Grant’s full profile after the jump!

When I was six years old, my dad took me to see a movie that made a lasting impression in my life. That movie was Batman. If Superman gave us the quintessential superhero in Christopher Reeve, then Batman gave us his counterpart in Jack Nicholson’s portrayal of Batman’s nemesis, the Joker. After almost twenty years, nobody has been able to top Jack’s performan… Click to read more

Earlier this evening I was invited to a hush-hush, six-minute teaser of The Dark Knight at AMC Loews Lincoln Center in New York.
Being the nice guy that I am, I’ll break down the not-so-breaking details (the six minutes of Dark Knight glory have been previously shown at various locales throughout the week) of the entire affair.
