First, let’s define “memorable” – it’s something that’s worth remembering or easily remembered. So, for our list of most memorable movie dudes, we took both meanings into consideration – male characters that are both easily remembered (you don’t need hints, clues, or the like) and WORTH remembering. That’s the key word here – worth. There are thousands of great performances or great actors who can bring any character to life but these male CHARACTERS are the ones we know right off the bat and are okay in our book. Check it out in our slideshow then vote for the most memorable in our poll after the jump.

Wonderfully crafted and lovable villains like the Joker and Two-Face make superb adversaries in Batman‘s crusade against crime, but not all The Dark Knight’s’ villains – for many reasons – can aspire to reach these same heights – especially within Christopher Nolan’s universe! There’s been rampant speculation about which evildoer will make an appearance in “The Dark Knight Rises” (Riddler’s out, Catwoman & Harley Quinn in?). Which foes fail to make the cut in Nolan’s trilogy finale? Find out after the jump!

If there’s one thing that really pisses off comic book geeks it’s when people who’ve never picked up a comic in their life predicate their knowledge on superheroes and villains solely on what they saw in the movies or television. Many times, people assume that storylines and characters have stayed the course since their inception. Check out our list of 10 superhero myths debunked after the jump!

Everyone’s heard of Batman, but have you heard of Grant Morrison? Because he’s done what the Joker, Two-Face and all the others couldn’t – he’s the man who finally killed The Dark Knight. Morrison is the famed comic book writer behind Batman R.I.P., where Bruce Wyane is killed, and Batman and Robin, where the first Robin – Dick Grayson – has to take up the Bat-mantle. But, as with most comic characters, Bruce Wayne didn’t stay dead forever, and with the recent hardcover release of The Return of Bruce Wayne, Grant Morrison’s work is once again in the news. Here’s a look at some of both the professional and personal highlights of one of comic’s consistently creative, popular and controversial writers. Check out Grant’s full profile after the jump!

This week’s DVD Drop is a complete no-brainer. The Dark Knight was one of the most successful summer releases this year and my guess is that pretty much every single one of you went out and saw this movie. There are few absolute truths in the DC comic book universe. Superman can’t be around kryptonite, OA is the source of the Green Lanterns’ power, Wonder Woman hates most men, and Batman is Bruce Wayne. Everything else can be cured by a simple “crisis,” of varying levels of finality.
In the newest twist of comic book fate, a line has be… Click to read more

This week’s DVD is Tropic Thunder. This was one of the most talked about comedies of the summer movie releases but was lost amongst other top name films such as The Dark Knight and Indiana Jones. The movie features an awesome cast of mega-stars Ben Stiller, Jack Black, and Robert Downey Jr.… Click to read more

At 1:32 in the Watchmen trailer, this pin-up of Sally Jupiter (played by Carla Gugino) appears for only a second. The illustration was done by artist, James Jean. And according to him, the picture plays a far greater role in the scene than the flash in the trailer conveys. Which is why we’re just going to sit here and stare at it for a while…
