During any live broadcast, there’s always a risk that someone will do something outlandish, or just plain NSFW. But after ABC showed multiple close-up shots of these spirited University of Texas fans during the Texas-Texas Tech game, before finally realizing in the 3rd quarter that one of the guys’ signs said “I cum orange,” we can’t say we have any sympathy.

Michael Crabtree was anointed with the “prima donna” label when he came out of Texas Tech for the NFL draft; that’s not so good if you’re a wide receiver hoping for a big payday. Nevertheless, San Francisco took him with their 10th overall pick. And Crabtree seems to be putting his hope in the bank–by threatening to sit out the entire year and re-enter the draft in 2010.

Halloween Weekend was hard on Colt McCoy’s Texas Longhorns. After being PWND in the first half by Graham Harrell and the Tech Red Raiders, McCoy led a second half comeback vaulting Texas into the lead with less than 90 seconds to go. As remarkable as it was, it was not remarkable enough. The Horns were PWND yet again in the final seconds with Harrell… Click to read more

At this point in the season is pretty obvious to any casual college fan that the undefeated Texas Longhorn’s are unstoppable.
If he keeps it up, quarterback Colt McCoy will be a shoe-in for the 2008 Heisman Trophy (oh yeah, he’s got hot girlfriend too) and in the more immediate future the Longhorns look to roll past Heisman hopeful Graham Harrell… Click to read more

Several weeks ago, Matt Williams was your average Texas Tech student. Average, until he entered a kicking contest during the Red Raiders’s September 20th game vs UMASS.
Williams can do what most average students can’t, kick a football long and straight. This ability not only scored him a free month rent when he made a 30 yard attempt to win the co… Click to read more

As of Friday afternoon, everyone is at 0-0 (almost, sorry Baylor, you got hammered). With the openning day kick-off less than 24 hours away, let us put Obama/McCain on hold and turn our attention to young men being given free educations in exchange for engaging in the controlled violence that we in the U.S. call NCAA College Football.
Check out College Footba… Click to read more
