On June 6th, 1984, the best selling game of all-time, Tetris, released to the public in the former USSR. Electronic Gaming Monthly‘s 100th issue had Tetris in first place as “Greatest Game of All Time“. In 2007, Tetris came in second place in IGN’s “100 Greatest Video Games of All Time“. In 2009, Game Informer put Tetris 3rd on their list of “The Top 200 Games of All Time“. If that weren’t enough, studies have shown that prolonged Tetris activity can also lead to more efficient brain activity during play. To honor its legacy we’ve pulled together a tribute that features a gallery of Tetris-themed photos along with a playlist of greatest Tetris-themed videos. Now, where can a brother get an “I” block? Check it out after the jump!

Dating. It means different things to different people. There’s traditional type dating (or courting as my 82 year-old grandmother calls it) and then there’s the more modern version of it — maybe a couple of dinners but mostly hanging at a bar/someone’s house until the good stuff happens. But no matter what school of thought you belong to in terms of dating, the signs that things are going good/bad remain constant. You don’t need to be an expert to figure them out. You just need to have two eyes and second grade common sense. Here’s a refresher course.

A Japanese game show turns humans into Tetris pieces. And hilarity ensues.
The show recently went on sale for re-broadcast in the international markets, so expect to see it show up on cable sometime soon.
