Remember that protest at NYU? Well, it turns out that you can’t do that and get away with it. After over 40 hours of protest, during which students barricaded themselves into one of the school’s cafeterias, 18 students have been suspended from the school, pending disciplinary review.
What started as a upbeat student rally demanding budget disclosure, endowment disclosure, and student representation on the Board of Trustees quickly turned sour around 1AM last night according to New York Magazine.
