One week down and a weekend left. If you’re a self-described nerd or a shameful hipster, chances are you wish you were in Austin right now.  Thousands of these archetypical consumers from all over the world have gathered in Texas’ capital to experience new technology, movies and music. The festival officially kicked off last weekend but the parties are now in full swing as we head into the weekend. And by full swing, I was referring to people having fun… not the kid with a tri-mohawk who swung a skateboard at the face of a guy who tried to snap a picture of his stupid hair. See what you’ve been missing down in Texas after the jump!

Forget about the endless after parties, free booze, and the 4000+ bands that make SXSW the most awesomely-excessive experience every March.  For our money, the best thing about SXSW is Bikinis… the sports bar and grill on 6th Street and the garb required of the beautiful girls who work there. We popped in early Saturday night to grab a quick bite and a drink between panels and parties. Four hours later we were still there. Our girl Britney (white bikini on right) was as sweet as she is hot and took ridiculous care of us. And now, here he is… Conan Ohhh-Briiii-yaaaahn… at the Four Seasons. We ran into Conan on Saturday waiting for a lift to the premiere of “Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop,” the upcoming documentary about the comedy tour that ensued after he was ousted from NBC. The doc played so well, it apparently landed a unique distribution deal with three separate distributors for three different platforms slated for simultaneous release. As you can tell from this pic, It’s good to be the CONAN.

Spring is just around the corner and that means the season of music festivals is almost upon us. Coachella, SXSW, and Bonnaroo are just some of the events to look forward to this coming season since, as we all know, music festivals are a great place to meet hot girls. It’s a no-brainer… where there are bands, there are beautiful girls and where there are 1000′s of bands… well you see where I’m going with this.

South by South West kicks off in Austin, Texas today! The huge music festival attracts the sexiest fans around. From the barely clothed to the barely sober, they’re all here to jam out to great music. Here’s a small sampling of some of the hotties you’re going to see.

If you hadn’t noticed, we here at COED had a F’ing awesome time at 2009′s South by Southwest (SXSW) festival. But can you blame us? We got to hang out with Hannah Hilton and Meggan Mallone, saw a once-in-a-lifetime Jane’s Addiction show at the Playboy party, caught Kanye West’s secret show at Fader Fort and saw tons of beautiful music babes. But we’ve saved the best for last…

From hanging with porn stars to Jane’s Addiction rockin’ show at the Playboy party to Kanye West secret Levi’s Fader Fort show, 2009′s SXSW was a marathon of awesomeness. And though the festivities are over, it wouldn’t be COED-complete without highlighting one of our favorite features of the festival – the lovely ladies of SXSW!

It’s no secret that Playboy and C3 know how to throw one helluva a SXSW shindig, but Thursday night’s Rock The Rabbit After Hours Party was the end-all-be-all. I mean hanging with 8 Playmates in an abandoned grocery store with an endless supply of BBQ and swill may be a little less than commonplace,

The coolest spot at this year’s SXSW is definitely the Levi’s/FADER Fort. And tomorrow night, it’s going to get a lot better: We just received confirmation from a very in-the-know, anonymous source that Kanye West is confirmed to play the Fader Fort Saturday night at 8:45pm, putting to rest what has to be the biggest rumor of SXSW 2009.

SXSW… 9 Days, 125,000+ attendees, 2000 bands and 2 ridiculously smokin’ hot Vivid Girls. Yes, SXSW is always on fire, but this year’s addition of Meggan Mallone and Hannah Hilton have put the local fire brigade on full alert. COED caught up with these two sexy young lasses this afternoon, celebrating 25 years of VIVID.
