Now, I’m a complete wussy when it comes to cold water, so I will never understand why anyone would purposefully jump into a frozen lake. But I do know, however, that it’s a good idea not to do this.

After shattering the world record and snagging Olympic Gold in Saturday’s 400-meter individual medley, Michael Phelps officially pwns the water.  It seems every time he takes the block, he breaks another record… and usually it’s his own.  Arguably, Phelps is super-human, but super-HERO?

It’s time for the Summer Games. For a select few, that means it’s time to put years of hard work and determination to good use to try to win a medal for their home country.
