Hilarious Flopping Soccer Players Forced To Wear Shock Collars [VIDEO]

I mean this is really the only legit reason soccer players should be falling down, but kudos to the team from Golden Goal for thinking this one up. They put out two five man squads (all of whom are professional players) with shock collars on their legs. The rules are simple, don't f*ck up - or you get shocked and then drop to the ground. And then shocked again.

The first known recorded use of the term “WAG” was in a 2002 story by British publication The Telegraph in which the reporter relayed a term thrown around by the Jumeirah Beach Club staff in reference to footballer’s wives and girlfriends. Once 2006 and the World Cup rolled around, the term became en vogue replacing the once popular, “Trophy Wife”. There’s long been an argument over which sport has the hottest WAGs. Many would agree soccer – the original football – does, while others believe American football attracts the highest caliber jersey chaser. I used to play sports at a big prep school, so I know what it's like to play on the level of the women's world cup. It didn't happen that often, but if I'm was talking to a chick after the game - it was understood by both parties that I was getting to second base. This soccer player Josefine Oqvist can be seen moving in on this male fan for the same reason. I don't doubt the fact that she'll probably dominate him, but that's probably what he wants. We Crashed Steve Nash’s Showdown In Chinatown Soccer Match [29 PHOTOS]

On June 22nd, Steve Nash had his annual Showdown in Chinatown soccer match at the Sarah D. Roosevelt Park in NYC. Thanks to my friend Devin, who works at VitaminWater, we scored front row seats. The match brought out some of the top athletes on Earth together for a pick-up game of soccer in front of thousands of fans. Marcin Gortat, Brandon Jennings, Steve Nash, Grant Hill, Tony Parker, Giuseppe Rossi, Claudio Reyna and many other world class athletes participated. In the end Team Nash won 16-10 and New Jersey's own (woop woop!) Giuseppe Rossi was crowned the Player of the Game. Check out the rosters and all the pics from the action after the jump.
