I’m not a big shoe guy. Mostly because I have sh*tty luck. I remember I got a pair of sweet blue high tops when I was 10 and thems sh*ts were ganked from my locker at the Y. I don’t know what it is about fly kicks that makes people lose their sh*t but it’s ridiculous. I’ve heard of thug life mugging / murdering people for their Air Jordans, but riots? Customers getting trampled to death over sneakers? Am I missing something? Anyway, we put together a gallery of (what I think are funny/wtf) Air Jordans pics that’ll either aid or abet the frenzy. I honestly don’t know. If you do, leave us your thoughts in the comments.

To get that booty, you must plunder or, in the case of this contest PLNDR. Face it, your Varsity Jacket isn’t going to cut it anymore now that it’s Spring (not that it really worked in the Winter either) and you’re badly in need of some fresh threads and kicks. What better way to score some gear than by winning it for free? This contest is really easy to enter – just like that girl you’re trying to land will be once you win. Oh yeah, up top! (*holds up hand for high five*) Enter after the jump!

Streetwear and Urbanwear brands are hot these days, plain and simple. With hipsters at an all-time high and skateboarding as commercial as ever, the fashion scope is shifting. Shifting to a look, that is well, unique. Big time brands are taking note of these new trends, but hold the phone, dear reader. To find these brands and stores, a trip to the local mall won’t suffice. Unless, of course, you’re in the mood for some Jamba Juice, an Aunt Anne’s preztel, and highschoolers. But if you are on the hunt for “fly threads”, or “dope gear”, or “cool clothes” this list should give you a better idea of some unique brands and styles that are out there. Read more after the jump!

The Air Jordan sneaker line has always been symbols of the era, style, and fashion. These sneakers have people lining up, and dropping serious cash to get a pair. And we know why. Made by the best designers, with the coolest ideas in mind, these shoes really out-do every other shoe on the market. Here is a history of what Air Jordan has become since its release in 1985.

Only rarely would any sane man pay over $200 for a pair of shoes that were not imported from Italy and made from ancient leather. But what would you say if I told you that some people do this every week and blow an entire paycheck on gym shoes alone? You would say those people are obsessed with playing basketball, but then I’d tell you that they were just buyin… Click to read more

As we left part one, we went through the early history of the Nike sneakers endorsed by Michael Jordan. The gym shoes that could go for thousands of dollars, depending on the rarity, have been a Sneakerheads dream for over 20 years now and now have even more to look forward to with the 25th anniversary sneaker endorsed by all-star Dwyane Wade.

It seems that Converse (#1 choice of 1920s b-ball stars and indie rock hipsters alike) is celebrating 100 years of being in the sneaker business by releasing a line of limited edition kicks that pay homage to rock greats The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, The Doors, and Kurt Cobain. The designs, which are printed on both the classic Chuck Taylor and Jack Purcell h… Click to read more

Being a writer for a college aged audience, I feel that you can understand my plight about socks. Socks themselves are tremendous. They provide comfort and keep me blister free during the five minutes of physical excersize I do a week as well as keep my extensive sneaker collection stench-free. However, when it comes to doing laundry, I always come out with on… Click to read more
