Only about the first 15 seconds of this video are interesting. But because it’s in French, it takes another minute and 45 seconds to provide the context. So if you only want to watch the super sweet part, here’s what happens: One dude tries to pull some lame prank on a passerby in a hat. With the gut-wrenchingly hillarious “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” kicking off it’s new season Thursday, we did what any good fan does, and started looking for clips online. That’s when we came across the episode, “The Nightman Cometh,” which is about a musical written by Charlie. In the musical, they sing the annoyingly catchy song, “Dayman,” which is awesome in its own right. I’ve always thought that adults who devote their lives to television for children were a bit odd (sorry Mr. Rogers!). But never, in my entire life, have I seen a kids television show that so thoroughly rattled my foundations of what is good and holy in this world as this freaky hippie dude, who tries to teach yoga to children through the use of terrifying farm animals and too many hugs.

With a ton of badass bands on the line-up and extra perks like a computer room for bloggers and complimentary adult beverages, there’s no question that the coolest spot at this year’s South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival is definitely the exclusive Levi’s/FADER Fort (1101 E. 5th Street between San Marcos & Waller). And tomorrow night, it’s going to get a lot better: We just received confirmation from a very in-the-know, anonymous source that Kanye West is confirmed to play the Fader Fort Saturday night at 8:45pm, putting to rest what has to be the biggest rumor of SXSW 2009.

Of course, some of you might not be satisfied with an anonymous source as “confirmation”. And believe us, we’d absolutely love to tell you how we have this information. But we’re not allowed. However, we can promise you that the Levi’s Fader Fort is where we’ll be Saturday night.

Before leaving the stage for another of her show’s many wardrobe changes, Britney Spears accidentally announces to her giant crowd in Tampa, Florida that her “pu**y is hanging out.” Guess somebody forgot to turn off the mic. Then again, we’re talking about Britney Spears here – this kind of thing just goes with the territory.

Tonight, Jimmy Fallon will take the stage in the first ever episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. And needless to say, he’s got a big task ahead of him – maybe too big.

Not only does he have to follow in the footsteps of comedic genius, Conan O’Brien to, he has to stop being such a humongous douchebag. Which is no easy task; Fallon’s douchiness runs deep and wide, from his spastic, laugh-at-his-own-jokes style to his asswipe hair, to just not being funny.

Of course he could still pull it off. Some insiders are saying he’s going to totally geek-out in an attempt to build a loyal fanbase and wash away some of the haters. So maybe we’re wrong, but if you ask us, the whole thing stinks of failure even before it gets out of the gate. (more…)

As you might guess, we here at COED watch a lot of videos on the Internet. But few have stuck with us more than the Cuppy Cake Boy and his giant fat face. Well, apparently it stuck with Tyra Banks, too – because he’s on her freakin’ show, and they sing the song together. Yes, it’s more annoying.

OK, I’ve got this idea for a television show: We’ll get a bunch of hot girls in bikinis, cover them in KY jelly and line them up in a row. Then we’ll have weird middle aged dudes try to slip N’ slide across them, and whoever makes it the farthest wins! It’s gonna be great… Oh, the Japanese already did that? Figures… (more…)
