The Complete Guide to Christmas Shopping Online

Today’s Cyber Monday, and that means great online deals all day. And unless you want to get trampled, I’d say it’s best to stay home this year and get all your shopping done online and out of the way of the angry mob. So I’ve compiled a ton of online options to get the job done for (pretty much) everyone in your gift-giving circle. A lot of them are interchangeable, depending on the people in your life, so don’t get stuck on the categories. But I will say, if you choose one site for every person on your list, you’ll have that whole “Christmas spirit” thing out of the way and you can just go watch some football.

Young, Fabulous, and Broke: How to Survive Without Much Green
February 16, 2008 by COED Staff

Of course there would be a clothing designer to capitalize off the twenty-something lifestyle. Young, Fabulous, and Broke is another high-end label that produces denim pricing-out around a quarter of my monthly rent and a cute little dress for my bi-weekly food budget.
Awesome! I can advertise the truth at last!
There’s no shame in being le broke, whether you’re in college or just out of it. The trick is to live it up without blowing through your checking account. Truthfully, the percentage of recent college grads making bank isn’t that high, we just have a lovely little tendency to live beyond our means and lack patience.
Label whores, I address you first. I’m one of you. The trick here is to get the look without going broke. Sales are where it’s at.
Instead of shopping consistently, go less often and go for classic pieces. Hit up outlet malls (there are some fantastic ones out there. In the tri-state area, I fully endorse Woodbury Commons, where I snagged a pair of Dior shades for $60 this summer and have seen BCBG at 75% off), wait until end-of-season, whatever. If it must be designer, you can tough it out until you can afford it. Trendpieces are best left to Forever21 and H&M. Read more
COED Presents: ‘Not-Your-Same-Old-Boring’ Gift Guide - Part. I

This goes out to Askmen.com, The New York Times, Stuff and others:
Stop putting out gift guides that no one other than Bill Gates nephew, Prince Harry or Mark Zuckerberg can afford. Not now and probably not ever will I be able to afford a $2,500 cashmere sweater by some Italian designer whose name I can’t even pronounce. Furthermore, quit it with the same generic gifts - give me some variety, people!
Minor kinks notwithstanding - it’s our first guide; be easy on us - COED Magazine presents our first annual holiday gift guide. Today’s deals are for the people shopping with a budget that want to leave an impact on the gift-receivers.
Feel free to leave links and info to products we forgot to list in the comment section. We will try our best to add them to tomorrow’s gift guide.

Trying to Charm a Lady? Here Are Some Pointers…

In your mind you may be Rico Suave, but it never hurts to read over a few pointers on how to charm a lady. I’ll keep it short and sweet so you can get back to sleeping, studying, ripping that bong or doing whatever people do on a Friday morning.
Do Say:
“If you’re not having fun wherever we go just let me know, ok? It’s no big problem.”
In giving your date the option to opt out of a certain plan, you’re showing respect before she earns it. If you’re worried about her being an unhappy, bitchy control freak, you’ll find out soon enough - and you’ll know to never call her back.
“I know we were going to ____ next, but why don’t we just say screw it and go to _______ instead?”
Spontaneity is key in having a quality date. Don’t let the idea of what dating is supposed to be determine your night. At the very least open both of your nights to new places and possibilities. A boring date can be turned on its head with the right attitude and lack of inhibition. Read more

Water Ball
Price: $439
Finally you can walk on water just like Jesus (facial hair optional). Made of a clear transparent material all you just have to blow it up, open up the zipper, climb in, and re-inflate. Go for a run, or look at fish through the bottom. The possibilities are endless. Just donât stay in there longer then 30 minutes or that Carbon Monoxide will make you sleepy.
“Wet” Flavored Lubricant

Who said lubricant had to taste like crap! TRIGG Laboratories has saved your backdoor problems with flavored lubricants. You can chose from Kiwi-Strawberry, Passion Fruit Punch, Blueberry, Cherry or Pina Colada. If your more of a traditional man you can go with the Wet Original, but how traditional can you be if your back there. Read more
Bosom Buttons: Not a Friend to Mankind
September 27, 2007 by Josh - New Hampshire

The fashion rage for some women today is (false) modesty.
Appearing on the market with no predecessor whatsoever, the Bosom Button is a button (either made from pearls or Swarovski crystals) that is designed to “minimize” cleavage.
How ironic: the tight, breast-enhancing bra barely covered by a halter-top with a plunging neckline will now be fully-covered with a glorified safety pin.
I’m all about morals, standards, feminism, equality, all that jazz - but this is a bit over the top. Read more
