Possible HIV Immunity Vaccine Discovered

Scientists at the University of Pennsylvania believe they have found a way to pass on immunity to HIV/AIDS–a rare genetic anomaly possessed by an extremely lucky few–by altering your genes.

Essentially, HIV infects the body by “pulling itself into” T-cells, which fight off infection, rendering the body unable to protect itself from disease and other viruses, says Wired.com. To do this, HIV latches on to a protein on the cell called CCR5. By altering the genetic make-up of a person’s T-cells and reinserting them into the body, HIV has no way to destroy their immune system. Read more

The G-Shot: Elusive G-Spot Now Easier To Find

g-spot Thanks to the guy that gave us duck-like celebrity lips (I’m looking at you, Jenna Jameson), the g-spot can now be enlarged using a collagen injection known as the ‘G-shot’, making the elusive ‘button’ more sensitive and easier to find. Glad they figured this out, because before hearing about it, I was working on a very intrusive sonar device.

From the Daily Mail:

Rather like lip-plumping jabs, the treatment involves injecting collagen straight into the G-spot.

This not only enhances its sensitivity, but increases the width of the area to the size of a 10 pence piece.

It also raises the G-spot a quarter of an inch in height, making it much easier to find. And, as Caroline can testify, the results are tremendous. ‘I have quite literally never experienced anything quite like it,’ she says. ‘I had constant multiple orgasms which went on for hours.’

Hours of orgasms sounds pretty F’ing rad. Now, if only science could do something really useful, like find a cure for cancer…Oh yeah, they just did that, too.

After thousands of viral YouTube videos and one Weezer music video, scientists have finally given us an explanation as to how the mysterious Diet Coke and Mentos reaction happens.

Tonya Coffey, a physicist at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina and her students “tested the reactions between Diet Coke and fruit Mentos, mint Mentos, and various ingredients such as other mints, dish-washing detergent, table salt and sand. They also compared reactions using other fizzy liquids such as caffeine-free and sugary colas, as well as soda water and tonic water,” says ABC News.

Do the Math: Alba’s Ass is a Prime Number

Jessica Alba

Mathematicians in Cambridge have studied the female form and “concluded” that the ratio between a ladies’ hips and waist attribute to their strut…and a strut is sexy. The closer the ratio is to 0.7 - the “lucky number” indeed - the better the swagger.

Unsurprisingly, Jessica Alba’s ass came out on top of their study. Weeks ago, Alba received an entire tribute to her derriere by us here at CO-ED - without crunching numbers, graphs and pie-charts. Take that, Pythagoras! Read more
