On July 3rd, Major League Baseball announced the rosters for the 2011 MLB All Star Teams. On July 4th, America celebrated our Independence Day. On July 5th, everyone realized the lack of beautiful women in professional baseball. While hot cheerleaders have been a staple of the NFL and NBA for decades, MLB’s first cheerleading team was apparently the Marlin Mermaids in 2003. Step it up, MLB! In the hopes of getting teams to realize how important these ladies are, we’ve compiled the following list of sexy all-star spirit leaders. Check it out after the jump.

With video of Bart Scott’s emotional post-game interview spreading across the ‘net like whoa, we thought we’d take a look at some of the best postgame interviews ever uploaded. It’s important to note we didn’t include videos from press conferences. Players and coaches know what they’re stepping into when those happen. These post-game interviews feature players fresh off the court, the rink, or the field, often still in uniform, still out-of-breath, and still in the heat of the moment. That’s when you get the best emotion. We know you CAN’T WAIT! See the videos after the jump!

The NHL had the bright idea of playing the “Winter Classic” outside at venues not typically used for hockey. The concept has since been adopted by the NCAA with ridiculous results. After this past weekend’s pretty awesome Illinois-Northwestern game at Wrigley and Notre Dame-Army game at Yankee Stadium, we at COED got to thinking: what other non-football venues would make for cool college football matchups?

Stephanie’s a 24 year old “California Bud Girl” model, stylist, and makeup artist from San Francisco, CA who’s currently attending school. As you can tell from her pictures, she loves her San Francisco Giants. We wish the season never ended so we could see more of her in those tight jerseys!

A couple weeks ago, we brought you the hottest WAGs of the League Championship Series. Now that the teams for the World Series are confirmed, we revisit the trophy wives, road beef, better halves, and mistresses of the Texas Rangers and San Francisco Giants. We honestly have no idea how these guys can think about baseball with this eye candy trick or treating all over the place. And, if we’re Ian Kinsler, we’re wifing up Amber Leigh Hartman like yesterday.

The League Championship Series begins Friday so COED decided to profile the hottest wives and girlfriends (WAGs). Face it, most players put on the cleats for the cleat chasers. Hot girls are drawn to professional athletes like Snooki is to a pickle. These women are proof it’s good to be a Yankee, Phillie, Ranger, or Giant.

These select individuals excel on the baseball diamond but their successes circling the bases with the ladies don’t match up. We have a feeling the following players are far from players that crush a lot. Now entering the game, Ashley Dupre.

The opening round of the 2010 Major League Baseball postseason begins on Wednesday when the Rangers travel to Tampa to take on the AL East Champion Rays. While it appears we might be heading for another Phils/Yanks World Series, we’re rooting for a league wide players strike, so we can replace them with the sexy superfans showing off body painted jerse… Click to read more

Earlier in the week, COED took a look at the “Top Five Future Superstar Hitters Of The MLB,” and now it is time to preview the future of the sport on the mound. With Roger Clemens, Pedro Martinez and Tom Glavine sipping on some tea, kicking back and counting retirement money, we’ll take a look at the top five starting pitchers that are 25-years-old or younger who are sure to be the next generation of staff aces.
