COED recently caught up with Chivas USA star Sacha Kljestan – you might recognize him from the cover of EA Sport’s FIFA 10, which hit store shelves this week. After beating Spain in the semi-finals of the 2009 Confederation’s Cup – one of the biggest upsets in recent soccer history – the United States is headed for the Finals against powerhouse team, Brazil (who whooped the US’s ass 0-3 earlier in the Cup). Monday, June 15th, the US went up against Italy in the first game of the 2009 Confederations Cup, losing to the former World Cup champs 3-to-1.  A disappointing loss, which now places them in the tough position of having to beat powerhouse Brazil to have much chance at advancing through in the series. But regardless of how the game goes, the match-up we’re really interested in is how our American hotties stand up against the always-bodacious Brazilian supermodels. UPDATE: The US went on to beat Spain, the No. 1-ranked professional soccer team in the world, in a mind-blowing upset. And now they’re headed to the Confederation’s Cup Finals, again going up against soccer powerhouse, Brazil.

It’s official, the 2008 Beijing Olympics are here!

Milk has unleashed their Olympic themed Got Milk? advertisement in this weeks Sports Illustrated to celebrate the 2008 games, which kick off on August 6th.

Ten athletes appear in the advertisement, including swimmer Ryan Lochte, softball pitcher Cat Osterman and MLS standout Sacha Kljestan.
