There are more than 1,000 films that can be classified within the genre of “college” or “university,” and we’ve narrowed down the list to the 20 greatest. So, what constitutes a “college” or “university” movie? Well, the main character(s) must be in college or on a college campus for the majority of the film – so no post-high school, pre-college kids like those in American Pie, Superbad, Say Anything, American Graffiti and the like. Though we do have a film that has guys OUT of college, they’re trying to start a fraternity, which is SO college. No film schools, no law schools, no medical schools. We’re talkin’ straight undergrad, son. Read on to see who made the cut then vote for your favorite after the jump!

Driving hours across long stretches of farmland in the middle of nowhere doesn’t make for the most appealing of journeys. Thank goodness there are movies that take something as excruciatingly boring and turn it into something entertaining albeit utterly implausible. So if you find yourself dreading the lengthy voyage from point A to point B, just think about these road trip classics. Just don’t try to reenact as I’m pretty most of the events in these movies are illegal. See our picks after the jump.

Road trips. There’s a reason they’re a tried and true (or overplayed) movie genre: they’re fun as hell! Some of our best (or worst) stories come from long distance driving. With most airports eye humping and groping you and trains a major rip-off, road trips are the way to go. Whether you’re headed cross-country or just back to your college dorm, keep an eye out for these fellow travelers after the jump!

On our way to ballpark number 12, Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, we drove past the world famous Adventureland. As you know from our downtime in St. Louis, John and I cannot physically pass by a landmark and not take incredibly stupid pictures in front of it. For this one we decided to set the camera on timer mode and catch some air. Despite what you see in every fa… Click to read more

Ah, smell that? The combination of sunblock, hot tar, and sweat just screams “summer time.” Oh, yes. The living’s easy. You’ve got three months of a part-time job, maybe a few BS classes to fill up some credits; what a perfect time to take a vacation! Your girlfriend has been nagging you to put on a pair of pants and take her out somewhere. Here are a few spots to spend with your long term girlfriend and/or hot summer fling (just don’t bring both of them at the same time).

Do you get that itch to just pick up and leave every so often? As tempting as it can be to just take off and go, you have to prepare at least a little bit. Otherwise your glorious road trip may come to a sudden and mind-numbingly dull end before you even break a single law.
