Over the past 50 years, corporations in America have become constantly more saturated into the fabric of American Life. And we as a people seemed to have embraced this smother wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, some companies aren’t looking out for the good of their countrymen. In a country going to hell in a handbasket, there are five corporations that are trying to make the transition as quick and as painful as possible. (more…)

Religion tends to bring out the best and the worst of people. After watching Bill Maher’s new documentary Religulous this weekend, this fact has never been more obvious. In the film Arkansas Senator Mark Pryor praises religion for it’s ability to soften the edges of humanity. But with the good comes the bad, and in some cases the most horrifying insanity imaginable.
With snake-handling preachers and tear-stained children speaking in tongues, the soft edges can become a bit hard to recognize. But as you will see in these five video clips, evangelical craziness can be gruesomely exciting to watch and cause you to shrill with terror.

Over the past seven years of the Bush Administration, I’ve realized that to know what people are lying about, just listen to what they’re accusing others of doing–which is exactly what Christian-right leader and founder of Focus on the Family, James Dobson has done by claiming that Barack Obama is ‘distorting’ the Bible. Check out video of Obama’s full speech after the jump! (more…)

Sarah Silverman redefines the term “outspoken.”
While the katana-tongued comedienne has as many haters as she does lovers, one thing is for certain: she will make you feel uncomfortable, guaranteed.
Whether that’s a plus or minus is up for debate.
With that said, what could be more entertaining than hearing Silverman rant about sex, race, kids, and religion in convenient, bite-size clips? Not much, I suppose.
Check out Sarah Silverman’s “Me Moments,” and tune in to Comedy Central tonight at 10:30 EST to see a brand-new episode of The Sarah Silverman Program.
