The real story of the day was the Boston Red Sox annual game against Boston College. Josh Beckett, Clay Buchholz and Junichi Tazawa mowed down Golden Eagle hitters in flawless appearances. Geoff Oxley got the start on the mound for Boston College and pitched a scoreless first inning, walking two.
