Originally released in Thailand in 1987, the beverage that “gives you wings” has exploded into a corporate powerhouse, sponsoring everything from a major league soccer team to stunt plane flying competitions.

So to help the beverage mavericks of energy celebrate their 21st birthday, we’ve compiled photos of all the hottest Red Bull girls from around the world. Maybe now that they’re legal, we’ll give them a sip of our Sparks.

Adderall: Not Just for ADD Anymore

add.jpgIf you’re in college, chances are you’ve run across those infamous peach pills at some point. I’m talking about Adderall. These little orange suckers are everywhere, from the library to the lecture hall…to your local sketchy party.

Adderall is designed to be used as study tool for students diagnosed with ADD or ADHD, but you don’t need to have either diagnosis to feel the desired effects of this drug. It’s an amphetamine, so it enhances your attention span and wakes you up, thus helping you pull all-nighters during finals week and just have more stamina for academia in general.

Basically, it’s like Red Bull. On cocaine. With five iced lattes.

But, Adderall is not always used for it’s intended medical purpose (shocker!). These pills can also aid in weight loss, making it popular with girls looking for an easy way to shed the pounds. Not only that, but it’s used to help people party more effectively. Adderall keeps you awake and sharpens your mind, both allowing you to keep that party goin’ a little longer. (more…)

Energy Drinks Sign Of ‘Risky Behavior’

In a study by the Journal of American College Health, researchers learned that consumption of energy drinks by teens, while increasing heart rates and allowing your to stay awake in class, is also linked to “unprotected sex, substance abuse and violence.”

From the IHT.com:

The study’s author, Kathleen Miller, an addiction researcher at the University of Buffalo, says it suggests that high consumption of energy drinks is associated with “toxic jock” behavior, a constellation of risky and aggressive behaviors including unprotected sex, substance abuse and violence. Playboy to Enter Energy Drink Market

Playboy Energy Drink

Sex sells…energy drinks.

Playboy is planning to go head-to-head with Red Bull and other energy drinks with their own special blend, appropriately titled Playboy Energy Drink.

From the press release:

“Playboy and Play Beverages LLC are thrilled to announce the launch of the ultra-sexy, incredibly invigorating Playboy Energy Drink. With subtle notes of fruit and vanilla, this proprietary formula contains ginseng root, guarana extract and damiana leaf, ingredients that are believed to stimulate energy levels. Available in two varieties, regular and sugar-free, Playboy Energy is now available in the Boston area and will roll out to Miami, Las Vegas and Los Angeles this March.”

I am also thrilled, although I’m pretty sure “subtle notes of fruit and vanilla” means stripper-approved baby powder, whorish perfume and loads of…regret.
