Welp, it’s Monday, again, and you know what that means! Another Week In Re-Boob! We’ve got all the hottest galleries the interweb has to offer. So don’t worry if you missed any of last week’s skintastic sexiness, we’ve got you completely covered. You might want to take a deep breath before diving into this one.

I always sorta liked Taproot. I’ve never been able to explain why. Maybe it has been because they’ve always reminded me of a better (way better) version of GodSmack. But at the end of the day, that whole Nu-Metal scene is long past old so Taproot’s new album released today, “Our Long Road Home“, needed to be different.

Luckily, based on what I have heard so far, it is. The melodies are much stronger and radio-friendly than those before, but I somehow think this is a good thing for them. The new music isn’t mind-blowing by any means, but it’s worth checking out if you’re a fan of catchy hooks. (more…)

As usual, last night’s Video Music Awards sucked a**.  The geniuses at MTV have succeeded in turning what was once a borderline semi-entertaining awards show into a series of tedious advertisements between more advertisements.  Great Job!

But despite all the foolishness, the sexy starlets came out in numbers, and for the most part, were looking dy-no-mite.  So, rather than making you search thru all those grocery-store-checkout-line-webzines for a little bit o’ VMA leg, we have taken it upon ourselves to weed out the wack and give you the jack.

BTW Pink- You saying “Lemme Check My Flow” in a song has a way different connotation than when Eminem says it… and the thought makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit.

We know, we know–Week In Re-Boob is supposed to go up on Monday. We’re sorry. Between a vicious Olympics hangover and enough technical difficulties to make the entire COED staff want to move to Appalachia and become hermits, we failed to get this up yesterday. Let’s face it. In order to be a female musician, it’s a prerequisite nowadays to be considered hot. Unlike the guys, who can get away with looking like this or this and gorgeous girls will still screw them, women are a completely different story. It’s just the way things go.

So, with all of the ladies putting countless records out, who is the hottest? And what makes a “hotâ€? female singer? There are dozens of lists of opinions; everybody’s got one. I happened to stumble upon one that caught my eye, if for no other reason than Madonna isn’t on it for once (I don’t care how “in shapeâ€? she is, people – she looks like hell. Eat a hot dog, woman).

Shoutmouth.com lists their countdown of the 50 Hottest Women in Music, and it goes by 7 different rules:

Rule #1 (The Madonna Rule): This list is based on recent hotness. It doesn’t matter how hot an artist was back in the ‘80s. It’s 2007. What have you done for us lately?

Rule #2 (The Hayden Panettiere Rule): To qualify for this list, an artist must be over 18 years of age. We only objectify of-age women here.

Rule #3 (The Newcomer Rule): Each artist must have released at least one full-length album prior to August 1st, 2007 in order to qualify.
