Even though Halloween is technically on Monday, that didn’t stop the whole nation from going out last night in costume. I’m sure that a few people (me) are paying the price for that. Just because slept in my costume and have the hangover of my life doesn’t mean that I’m not ready to go for it again. Bro Rule #3, puke and rally. Feel free to use these pumpkins as inspiration. With so many microbreweries around, companies are trying to find ways to separate themselves from the pack. It has to be done tastefully, but some brewers are using different and somewhat crazy ingredients in an attempt to draw customers their way. Whether they do this from purely a marketing perspective or because they actually taste better with a little Cabernet, veggies, or chilis is up for discussion. Among many of college’s time honored traditions, streaking through town amongst your fellow students and freaking out the locals is considered the ultimate rush and, most important of all, brings a smile to the faces of the Animal House pantheon of gods. Per usual, authority figures don’t share this same level of enthusiasm when it comes to our youthful antics and that’s why the president of Tufts University in Massachusetts, Lawrence Bacow, has put an official ban on the school’s annual Naked Quad Run, calling it a safety hazard! We at COED call bullsh*t and that’s why we’re stickin’ it to Bacow by presenting the best videos of streakers and naked runs that the internet has to offer! Ban this, Lawrence!

Other than keggeriffic costume parties featuring insanely hot chicks wearing revealing outfits, the next best part of Halloween is making a jack-o-lantern so ace people are forced to take pics and spread it like it’s hot on the interwebs. While most families go for the traditional (read: boring) look, others make us physically ill they’re so bad. Then, there are jack-o-lanterns that ARE physically ill. We’re sure you’ve already seen fruit in beer. Even things such as coffee and chocolate are more commonplace these days than they were years ago. But what about vegetables in beer? Or chilis in your suds? Some brewers even create ales aged in wine barrels, which take on Cabernet Sauvignon flavors with sour tendencies. Some of these might be excellent, while others could be a complete train wreck. It’s up to you to decide.

In a half-assed attempt to keep children from having contact with violent and child sex offenders this Halloween, Maryland is requiring 1,200 felons in the state to put up a poster of a, get this, orange pumpkin, to be the ‘Scarlet Letter’ warning to parents and children not to trick-or-treat at that house.
