July 21st is Tailor James‘ b-day. In 2011, the Canadian-born cutie turns the big 3-0. Playboy’s Cyber Girl of the Week in September 2001, Cyber Girl of the Month in January 2002, and Miss June 2003 was our Miss COED in February 2009. She’s also on the cover of our 30 Sexiest Canadian Women feature in which she finished 18th in our poll. Today’s Miss COED, Marilyn Monroe, was Playboy’s first ever Playmate, though back in December 1953 when the first issue was published, it was known as the “Sweetheart of the Month“. The traditional definition of “playmate” is one who is “a companion at play”. Mr. Hefner‘s version of a companion at play is an attractive female model who is featured in a pictorial that includes nude photos, a centerfold poster, a short bio, and a “Playmate Data Sheet” displaying birthdate, measurements, turn-ons, and turn-offs. This comprehensive feature appears in the centerfold/gatefold of Playboy. But, what makes a Playmate “popular”? Is it her bust, her brains, or her bold personality? Find out after the jump!

It appears the most popular playmate ever, Attack of the Show guest host Sara Jean Underwood, has a thing for dressing up like superheroes. Last month, she donned the Wonder Woman costume in what we assume was her way of saying Adrianne Palicki isn’t right for the job. Now, she’s created an entirely new superhero persona, calling herself “Bustice”. Her superpower? Let’s just say we wouldn’t mind her busting us.

Miss June 2005 and 2006 Playmate of the Year Kara Monaco turns 28 years young today. The blonde beauty is one of the most popular Playmates according to Google, a member of the Playmate Dancers, and is definitely a “must follow” on Twitter.
