On Monday, November 28th, Nokia hired Deadmau5 to help them promote their new phone. Not only did they hire the world’s most popular DJ (sorry Avicii), but they also set up the world’s most advanced projection screen… On an entire building. In this video, one of the many awesome shots shows that you can clearly see the performance from across the river. Nokia had some serious issues not only streaming the performance (like they said they would) but also posting this for people to see. Looks like they got their act together, so now you can enjoy a brand spankin’ new Deadmau5 song while checking out “the future of live performances.”

We stopped by The Alamo in San Antonio and I have to say I was pretty unimpressed. More tourists per square foot than anywhere I’ve ever been. Not surprising I guess considering there is a Ripley’s Believe It Or Not and Madame Tussauds directly across the street. I think the most Astounding part of The Alamo was this real life San Antonio police officer who was feeding pigeons out of his bare hand like it was no big deal. He wasn’t even charging $5 per picture like you’d expect in a spot like that. In an attempt to salvage San Antonio we did a little recon and people told us about the River Walk which is a sweet row of bars and restaurants right on the river. It was a solid spot to grab a drink, babe watch and beat the heat.

Larissa Riquelme’s boobs are back in the news. Apparently the busty Paraguayan lingerie model has signed a deal to become the new face and boobs of the Nokia C3. She recently appeared in Guadalajara, Mexico for the launch of Nokia’s newest phone.

We took the 1 Train uptown, transferred to the D Train at 59th Street – Columbus Circle and got off at 161st Street – Yankee Stadium. The trip took about 45 minutes and was an easy ride on a train packed with other Yank… Click to read more

Believe it or not, AT&T offers more than just the iPhone. In fact, it actually has a pretty large selection for those folks who choose to go against the grain and get something a little different. The Samsung Rugby, Nokia 6350, and LG Vu are three phones built for different purposes and have features that the Apple-made phone just doesn’t offer.

From the “One of the Coolest Phones We’ve Received around Here in a Dogs Year” Department, the Nokia 7705 twist is a 2.75 square –yep square – that weighs in at 3.44 ounces. If “Size Matters” (and my girlfriend assures me it doesn’t) this is a great choice of handset. Option 2 is you could make your own version of the Nokia Twist by snapping your iphone over your k… Click to read more

You’re in for a treat this summer: Star Trek is poised to be a popular success on the level of Iron Man. It’s exciting, funny, and entertaining in ways that are accessible both to die-hard Trekkies and average movie lovers. Except for the parts where it sucks… (Spoiler Alert!)
