One of my favorite things about growing up in the 1990’s were the Nickelodeon shows. Freg-face, Artie…the strongest man in the world, Linda Ellerbee, the Orange SNICK couch, Alex Mack’s hot ass…there are very few things in life that pump me up more than reminiscing about old school Nick. Running off the school bus to sit down in front of the TV for hours, Saturday nights spent watching Snick..ahh the good old days.

But when those groupies become wives and girlfriends (probably because they’re the hottest), sometimes they get pregnant. Slashfilm recently featured a video that compared Michel Gondry’s new film Be Kind Rewind to The Amanda Show, which aired on Nickelodeon eight years ago. While the concepts are indeed similar, it’s commonplace for these kind of coincidences to happen in entertainment…right?

Nickelodeon’s show about a camp and the hijinks that went on there featured people you may recognize from your own camper days like: Michael, the new kid; Donkeylips, the fat guy; Bobby Budnick, the resident asshole who introduced our generation to Metallica; Sponge, the nerd; Pinsky, the jock; Telly, the tomboy; Z.Z. the hippie; Dina Alexander, the camp hottie; and their counselor Kevin Lee otherwise known as “Ugâ€?
