COED’s Most Anticipated Movies of 2010 hailed the film adaptation of “Arrested Development” as the most eagerly awaited release for this past year. So, what makes us want to see a movie? It could be our admiration for certain actors or directors, or it could be as simple as a bad-ass poster or tagline. Whatever the case may be, we’ve combed Variety’s Film Release Chart for the movies releasing in 2011 that could be on your “Best Of” list come this time next year. Without further ado, COED presents our list of the Most Anticipated Movies of 2011. See the full list after the jump!

With Katy Perry’s recent appearance on Sesame Street, in which she made babies everywhere pucker their lips, making headlines, we here at COED aren’t surprised. The children’s show has a torrid history of guest appearances by not-so-family-friendly foxes as evidenced by our list of the 12 sexiest celebrities to appear on Sesame Street. Today, we add the crooner behind California Girlz to the list. Anyone else have a hankering for milk?

A wise man once said that there’s “funny ha-ha” and “funny uh-oh”. Well what about “funny no-no”? Translation: what if you’re about as funny as AIDS? Or AIDS on the day that you’re supposed to get your appendix taken out. I know that’s probably not at all possible but you get where I’m headed with this. Some (like myself) have made humor a gender issue but that’s just not the case. The fact is that comedy has been so saturated that sometimes we mistake dumb for funny.

The internet is chock full of ‘Hot Lists’. From the sexiest women of Sports Illustrated to the hottest women of Playboy, hundreds of new hot lists pop up on the interwebs everyday. The problem with most of these lists is that they are mundanely obvious. So in effort to stray from the norm, we thought we’d compile a queue of two things that couldn’t be more paradoxical: Sexy Women and Sesame Street. Whereas we hope you don’t find Sesame Street all that sexy, these 12 women are by far the hottest dames to ever go to “where the air is sweet”.

Turn back the clock to a time of scrunched hair, neon color schemes and eight bit arcades! Though it’s reputation for campiness is well deserved, there were some awesome shows gracing the major broadcast networks back in the 80′s.

A recent Youtube poster has been putting together clips of the Muppets characters “covering” popular songs including Phish. This is hilarious and ingenious, trust me. So sit back, relax, and jam out with Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.

In one of the most well done video’s we’ve seen in a while the creators of the Muppets pay tribute to Freddy Mercury (RIP) and Queen by covering their famous 1975 tune Bohemian Rhapsody. When you’re done watching the Muppets make sure you click to view another epic Bohemian Rhapsody moment brought to us by Wayne and Garth.

It’s indisputable: “Riverbottom Nightmare Band” is not only the greatest Christmas song of all time, but the greatest song of all time, period.
I’m not even joking: check the heavy as f*** main riff, 70′s glam-rock moves and of course, the most bad-a** lyrics and melodies ever penned by puppets. This makes stoner-rock gro… Click to read more

I had a lot of nightmares as a kid. Thanks to these nightmares and various frightening films I’ve developed a hilarious set of OCD habits such as opening and closing closet doors before sleeping and checking behind the shower curtain before I saddle up to the toilet (you laugh but one day someone is gonna be in there and then who’s the dumb one!)

This is what happens when noise-rock duo Lightning Bolt (one of the best bands recording today) meets the Muppet collective:
Isn’t Animal a dead-ringer for LB drummer Brian Chippendale?

The most boring class I took in college was Statistics I.
It was boring and hard, which meant that no matter what I tried, I constantly fell asleep next to my computer and woke up completely lost.
If only I could have taken one of these classes compiled by Mental Floss Magazine, I’m sure my GPA would have looked much better. Instead of dozing off to the lulling soun… Click to read more
