So, it’s come to this. It was bound to happen sometime, I know. But I never thought it would effect me in such a profound way. I know, I know – I should explain. I think you better sit down. Are you sitting? OK – the badass Mr. T has… *sniffle* …has now been reduced to selling light bulb ovens on infomercials…. IS THERE NO GOD?!
Apparently, Mr. T is a big proponent of women’s rights issues, especially mothers. Which is, we’re guessing, why he made this music video, “Treat Your Mother Right.” It’s almost like this is directly from an episode of Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show Great Job!.
“In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire … the A-Team.”
Rumors have been kicking around about a full-feature A-Team movie for several years, but only now has the project been confirmed.
The big-screen version of The A-Team will deal with more recent politics (Iraq, man) and have actual deaths. That’s right: when somebody falls fifty-stories from a high rise, on fire, while getting shot multiple times they won’t just dust themselves off and walk away! (more…)
These days good humor is hard to find. Everything is watered down because people are afraid that a joke will offend someone of another race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or meal preference. However, there is one thing that will always put a smile on peopleâs faces: midgets!
Midgets always equal fun, no matter what. Take for example midget wrestling. Does anybody remember when the WWE used to have a midget division? It was great! They even had a midget version of Randy Savage called the âMacho Midgetâ? who would drop the big elbow off the top rope. And who can forget Doink the Clownâs little companion, Dink.
Midgets have also given us some of the most memorable movie characters of all time. Who can forget Warwick Davis as Willow? And the Austin Powers‘ sequels wouldâve been nothing without Verne Troyer as Mini-Me. And of course there was the Lord of the Rings trilogy where the main heroes are hobbits and dwarves. Famous actors portrayed the characters but if you look closely, whenever Frodo and his buddies are standing next to humans there body doubles are midgets! Gone are the days when the midget portrayed only a troll or fairy. (more…)
