If you didn’t tune in for the Miss USA 2011 pageant last night, you missed Kelly Osbourne being completely out-of-place and the crowning of this year’s winner, Miss California USA Alyssa Campanella. We had a hunch she’d win and her Q&A segment pretty much sealed the deal. We’re still baffled about Miss Florida and Miss Hawaii getting the early exit, though. The 60th anniversary of the Miss USA pageant will be held at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on June 19. Miss USA 2010, Rima Fakih of Michigan, will crown her successor who will then represent the U.S. at the Miss Universe pageant in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12. Rima hosted a pool party for the Miss USA 2011 contestants in what amounted to a sexy and provocative preview of the swimsuit competition. Miss Arkansas Alyse Eady may have placed 2nd in Saturday night’s Miss America 2011 Pageant, but her yodeling / ventriloquism rendition of “I Wanna Be a Cowboy Sweetheart” took first place for ‘creepiest and most bizarre’ in the talent competition. I’m not sure what makes a beautiful girl like Alyse turn to yodeling with two ventriloquist dolls named Rosie and Rocky, but I would bet there is an estranged Uncle somewhere in the equation.

Miss Nebraska Teresa Scanlan was crowned Miss America 2011 Saturday night in the 90th Annual Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas. The 17 year-old blonde bombshell blew fans away with her beautiful smile, bubbly personality and mad rendition of “White Water Chopsticks” on the piano. She aspires to one day to sit on the Supreme Court of the United States, but we’d be more than content to see her sit for a bikini shoot COED style.

Saturday night, 53 women from the US, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands will compete for the coveted Miss America crown in the 90th Annual Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas. The show will be hosted by the beautiful Brooke Burke. Preliminary events have taken place earlier this week, including our favorite segment, (surprise, surprise) the swimsuit competition. Since you’ll probably be watching the Atlanta Green Bay game, we thought we’d give you a little looksee of what you’ll be missing.

Brittany’s a 24 year old model from Anderson, Indiana who was first discovered at age 14 during a model search h in Chicago. At age 17 she won Teen Indiana, America’s Southern Teen, and went on to represent the United States at Teen Model of the World. She was Miss Indiana USA 2008 and placed in the top 10 in that year’s Miss USA competition. You’ve might seen her on America’s Next Top Model Cycle 12. We’d like to see her more often, but that stupid restraining order is such a buzzkill.

Where is the outrage and where is the media backlash on the Miss USA pageant injustice? Last night Miss Michigan won the crown despite being significantly less attractive than the insanely gorgeous Miss Oklahoma. While we would normally never pit two attractive ladies against each other it would be unfair and unpatriotic for us not show you the smokeshow who should have won. Look at these pictures and then try telling us that the right woman is wearing the crown.<

Miss Venezuela Stefania Fernandez was crowned Miss Universe 2009 in the Bahama’s Sunday night. This marks the second year in a row Miss Venezuela has won the Miss Universe Crown. We’re not sure what their putting in the water down south of the border, but please what ever you do, don’t stop.
