No matter how positive you are, Mondays blow goats. No matter what you do, you just can’t get motivated to do anything productive. You’re literally and figuratively stumbling around, unfocused and aimless. Well, let us make your Monday productivity even worse! The Monday Stumble is when we take to StumbleUpon to stumble upon a bunch of random wtf photos. This week, we feature a Hall of Fame level gallery of MJ, Vida Guerra, Irresponsible Pet Rocks, a library of Man Knowledge, how to make wine from flowers, making kegs from watermelons, whether or not Steve Jobs is in heaven, and much more. As the NBA lockout enters it’s third month, many NBA fans such as myself are coming to the realization that the whole season might be cancelled. In my opinion, the best post-season in any sport is the NBA Playoffs (I can hear the haters typing now). Without a real regular season, however, the playoffs won’t mean as much. It also means that NBA fans won’t have nearly as much to do during the cold, winter months. Don’t worry though, I’m here for you. Below are five things you should be doing while your favorite athletes relax play competitively in Europe.

It should come as no surprise that professional athletes party pretty hard – they’re constantly under pressure, make serious bank, and have a roster of hunnies at their disposal. Coaches often talk about how champions are developed off the field. Sure, they’re probably referring to early morning work-outs and film study, but these guys are bringing their A-Game to the bar and the club. I guess they just can’t turn it off. Check out the hilarious gallery of your favorite athletes getting trashed below!

Throughout the history of the NBA, players who’ve been second fiddle to the team’s franchise star have been just as significant as the big name. Scottie Pippin would’ve been a superstar on any other team had he not played in the shadow of Jordan throughout his prime. The same can be said of Chris Mullin playing behind Reggie Miller and of Joe Dumars being overshadowed by Isaiah Thomas. Every guy has that friend who seems to get lucky more often than he, but we just strung along like great wingmen, don’t we? Your time will come, my friends – but this post is dedicated to the NBA’s most underrated and unsung heroes over the last decade. See our selections after the jump!

The Air Jordan sneaker line has always been symbols of the era, style, and fashion. These sneakers have people lining up, and dropping serious cash to get a pair. And we know why. Made by the best designers, with the coolest ideas in mind, these shoes really out-do every other shoe on the market. Here is a history of what Air Jordan has become since its release in 1985.

2K Studios released NBA 2K11 with Michael “Air” Jordan gracing the cover last Tuesday. In honor of His Airness’ return to the (virtual) court, it’s only fitting to daydream about other icons–fictional and real–I’d like to see be “like Mike” and make a return to popular culture via video games. After all, legends never die. Note: Bagger Vance not included.

Every now and then a team comes along with the intuition to annihilate every possible opponent and show just how much better they are than everyone else. I’m not talking your old fashioned 13 win NFL season which is then followed up by some competitive post season games and then hopefully a championship. No, what we got here are team’s that just straight up said screw it and decided to kill your team, my team, and everyone else’s team.

Pro athletes can make big bucks from on the field performance, but the bigger bucks come from off the field endorsements. However, advertisers won’t just throw their money at any endorser, they need to be assured the spokesperson will be loved by the fans and elicit a favorable response.
That’s where “the Q scores” come in handy. I… Click to read more

Over the past two years, the talk around the NBA has centered around where LeBron James will play in 2010. Finally, that time is near. After July 1, LeBron, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and many other top superstars can be changing zip codes. Although some players such as Dirk Nowitzki, Amare Stoudemire and Paul Pierce have Early Termination Options (ETO) and are likely to remain with their respective teams, I’m including them in this list in case they do opt out, which will only add to the biggest free agent class in the history of sports.

On the totem pole of championship events, the NBA Finals is right there between the Indy 500 and the Fourth of July hot dog eating competition. Part of it is because nobody cares about the teams or by the time they’re ready to get invested into the Finals, the whole thing is over. Still, the NBA Finals used to mean something. It was the first must-see event of the summer when I was younger. So allow me to count down (or up) some memorable NBA Finals game.

There is nothing better in the game of basketball than a good ol’ fashioned “Poster Dunk”. For those who don’t know, the poster dunk is when the dunker throws down a slam on an opposing defender who attempted to block the lane to pick up a charge call..here is a good example of Kobe Bryant back in high school. Check out the top 10 “Poster Dunks.”
