Round One of The LeBron Hate Parade 2010 is in the books as he and his buddies shattered the Cavs in a demoralizing 118-90 victory that was nowhere near as close as the score indicates. The Heat are finally clicking and have won five straight heading into a west coast trip with stops in Utah, Golden State, and Sacramento. As the NBA season hits December, a lot of highly anticipated storylines are beginning to play out. Simply put, nothing is bigger than LeBron’s first trip back to the city that he shat on when tonight’s theater of vengeance unfolds on TNT. LeBron brings his underwhelming 11-8 Miami Heat to his former kingdom where Cavs owner Dan Gilbert will finally get to see his rabid fan base pounce on the One that turned his back on his hometown.

Welcome to the Thanksgiving Edition of the COED weekly NBA roundup where we will be focusing on all of those who deserve thanks this holiday weekend. Let’s start it off with a big Thanksgiving Thanks to Eva Longoria from the fans of San Antonio. Unfortunately, her brief three-year marriage to Spurs star point guard Tony Parker came to an end this week, but not at the expense of the Spurs win-loss record.

The Rockets, Heat, Clippers, and Knicks are not living up to the preseason hype. Meanwhile, Minnesota’s Kevin Love had a 30 point 30 rebound night against the Knickerbockers while Boston’s Rajon Rondo shows why he should be an all-star and quite possibly MVP of the league.

The second week of NBA action is in the books and a few surprises have already left a mark on this young season. The Lakers have jumped out to a ho hum 8-0 start and the shocking Hornets are becoming the talk of the town in New Orleans as they have played brilliant 7-0 ball thus far.
