Student Suspended Over Hot Girl Contest

INDEXLittle did Mike Butrym know that organizing a hottest girl contest at his New Jersey high school would lead to such drama, after all he was only continuing a Montville High School tradition.

“May Madness” was modeled after college basketball’s “March Madness.” But instead of picking teams for their brackets, teenage boys chose 16 female students from each grade. Each day, they would pair off the girls and judge them on appearance. The girl with the higher rank would advance to the next round.

The 18-year-old says half the girls thought it was a joke and started a hottest boy version. School officials learned of this year’s contest when Butrym and other participants wore matching “May Madness” T-shirts.

Check out all the deatils and read about his suspension!

Office pools and other tournament wagers total some $2.5 billion each year according to Federal Bureau of Investigation estimates, while the lure of buzzer-beating shots and unlikely upsets attract a TV and Internet audience to CBS (nyse: CBS news people ) of 140 million over the course of the tournament.

kansas cheerleader

Sure if the sexiness of a team’s cheerleaders guaranteed championships then the UCLA basketball team wouldn’t have been knocked off in the Final 4 and there’s a good chance they could defeat a bipartisan McCain-Obama ticket to take the White House this November – in other words… UCLA has the sexiest cheerleading squad in all of sports.

With that said Kansas and Memphis will square off tonight in the NCAA Basketball Championship Game so lets take a look at how their “spirit squads” match up.
