I know it’s still early, but that’s probably the funniest thing I’ll hear all day. Relax, it’s not real, this is just a clip from Ricky Gervais’ new BBC show Life’s Too Short. In this scene, Liam approaches Ricky and tells him that he wants to be “an improvisational comic.” I wasn’t ready for him to kick so much *ss in Taken, but I was really taken aback by how funny he actually was. The woman who played sexy, seductive saboteur Bridget von Hammersmark in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds, Diane Kruger will next appear on the big screen alongside Liam Neeson in the stolen-identity thriller Unknown. Though “alongside” isn’t quite the word, as she says, “I’m five foot seven, but Liam’s about six foot…I dunno, ten? He’s like a bus next to me.” If I were Liam, I’d be like “Get on the bus… a Liam Neeson joint”. COED’s Most Anticipated Movies of 2010 hailed the film adaptation of “Arrested Development” as the most eagerly awaited release for this past year. So, what makes us want to see a movie? It could be our admiration for certain actors or directors, or it could be as simple as a bad-ass poster or tagline. Whatever the case may be, we’ve combed Variety’s Film Release Chart for the movies releasing in 2011 that could be on your “Best Of” list come this time next year. Megamind was mega moneymaker again at the box office, pulling in $29 mil to put a stop to Unstoppable, which ran away with $22 mil. Skyline made back its budget in its debut weekend while Morning Glory has a ways to go to clear that $40 mil budget. This week’s entries are few and far between due to Harry Potter. However, if you prefer fiery redheads and homicidal blondes over magical kids molesting their wands, you’re in luck.

Clash of the Color Schemes topped the B.O. last weekend despite claims the 3D technology was more Viewmaster than Cameronvision. By taking in $61 million, it’s already made back a little under half of its budget. One movie entering theaters hopes couples make this weekend a three day date night.
