May is bicycle month, not to be confused with “Bicycle Day” which is celebrated on April 19th. On that day, Albert Hofmann (the inventor of LSD) ingested 250 micrograms of the drug attempting to find how much would f*ck him up. Considering that today’s general knowledge dictates that only 20 micrograms are needed, ‘The Hof’ started bugging out. Wartime restrictions prohibited the use of vehicles so Albert was forced to ride a bicycle on what will go down in history as the most holy-sh!t journey ever made. Check out these 20 famous LSD users that followed in his bike treads after the jump.

There was once a time when animated sitcoms were all the rage in the wake of shows like The Simpsons and King of the Hill. It seemed like every network threw their hat into the ring at some point. However, many of these shows were either mega ratings bombs or were canned for not pulling in Simpsons-esque numbers. As a result, these series were canceled after their first season, several before their entire run had finished. These are a few of the unlucky ones that never found their place on network television, though most of them enjoy relatively decent success on cable and DVD. See our top 8 picks after the jump!

The Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah came to a close this past weekend. While most of the buzz went to documentaries like How to Die in Oregon, Page One: A Year Inside The New York Times, and Being Elmo: A Puppeteer’s Journey, we decided to do a countdown of feature length movies from the U.S. Dramatic Competition, NEXT competition, and those not in competition (plus one doc we just couldn’t pass up) that you should definitely see – whether it’s in the theater, on demand, or through Netflix. See our picks after the jump!

Ah, the overrated chant. If you’ve been to a major sporting event where an underdog upsets a favorite, you’ve probably heard it. But when it comes to movies, how does one know if a title is overrated? You don’t have that chant when the credits come up, so how does one know? The reputation comes over time. As the hype wears off, one gains perspective on its actual merit. The movies on this list are excellent examples of when the bandwagon careens out of control. And just like any other list, we’d like to preface by saying that COED does not think these movies are bad, but that you might want to pump the brakes, slow your roll, and check yourself when evaluating them among the classics.

The number and variety of podcasts available on the internet is growing rapidly. They are starting to take the place of radio, TV, news, etc. — and most of those outlets are also in podcast form. If you have a favorite movie, game, website, show, there is probably a podcast for it, about it, or by it. But it can be a lot to wade through on your own. That’s why we’ve compiled a shortlist of ones that every guy needs to start listening to now.

Honestly, I never paid too much attention to John Mayer. Sure, his earlier music hits were like lollipops from a candy store: cheap, simple and sweet and the words to those songs just came out of my mouth like I was born knowing them. In no way did I ever think about what he was up to, ever. Then his relationships with Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston became tab… Click to read more
