With Week 8 coming at you at full speed this weekend, we will take a look at the first BCS top ten rankings of the 2009 season. While Bama fans would probably prefer the AP poll since their Crimson Tide have taken over the top spot, we here at COED are more interested in the BCS because it makes us think of Bottomless Cheerleading Squads… (more…)
For the first time seemingly all season, last week was rather quiet in the top ten – on the field. Off the field, the cheerleaders and annual beer pong tournaments were making plenty of noise on campus. With only a few weeks to go before Halloween gives us the hottest mix of scantily clad girls with BACs pushing 0.4, let’s take a look at this week’s matchups for the best of the best in college football…
The return of Tim Tebow helped propel the top ranked Gators to a 13-3 win on the road over LSU. This big time win despite the vulnerability surrounding their top dog made it all but certain that this Florida squad is poised for its third title in the past three years…and no, not even Ryan Mallett can stand in their way this week.

No. 2 Alabama (5-0) vs. No. 22 South Carolina (5-1)
Saturday, Oct. 17, 6:45 pm, ESPN (HD)
After an impressive dismantling of a then-ranked No. 20 Ole Miss team last week, Bama has finally leapfrogged Texas and is enjoying the week from the No. 2 slot. This week they face another test as they take on Steve Spurrier’s team who has already upset a then-No. 4 ranked Ole Miss team (yes, we can see the trend of Ole Miss’ ranking continually dropping).

No. 3 Texas (5-0) vs No. 20 Oklahoma (3-2)
Saturday, Oct. 17, 11 am, ABC (HD)
And this week Texas will have the opportunity to make a statement with a giant game left on their schedule against the hated Sooners from up north. This will be a much bigger storyline now that we have the epic McCoy vs. Bradford shootout on the docket. Expect this to be a Big 12 dogfight – and no, Mike Vick is not invited. (more…)
Week 6 is upon us in the land of college football, and many campuses are starting to get hit with the colors of autumn, the crisp coldness in the air, and most importantly, the two or three extra shots needed to keep warm in the student section during the game. With a continual whirlwind knocking the top teams out of the rankings each week, expect more of the same this week. The key matchup will center around the health of Tim Tebow, while the rest of the top ten will be looking over their shoulder (directly at the opposing cheerleading squad) hoping not to get knocked off their top 10 perch.
Obviously, this is the game of the week and probably the game of the season to this point. And we are hours away from kickoff and still wondering about whether or not Tim Tebow will play and if he does, how effective he will be. Get ready for a great battle in the SEC that could have national title implications down the road.

No. 2 Texas (4-0) vs. Colorado (1-3)
Saturday, Oct. 10, 6:15 pm, ESPN (HD)
This could be a blood bath. Colorado is having a dismal season that has already seen a loss to Colorado State and a trouncing put on them by Toledo, but they haven’t experienced pain yet like they will this coming Saturday night in Texas.
If this matchup occurred prior to Ole Miss’ SEC opening loss at South Carolina, perhaps we’d be talking about it like the Florida/LSU game. But Mississippi did as we all expected and lost to an unranked team while holding on to a top 5 spot. The question is, can they rebound in their first true test since the Carolina game and show the nation that they are an elite team with a victory over Saban’s Tide?
Boston College has been a thorn in the ass for the Hokies in recent past, with the Eagles winning the past three regular season meetings. After big wins over Nebraska and Miami (FL), is this Virginia Tech team battled tested enough to withstand a let down loss to BC?

No. 6 Boise State (5-0) at Tulsa (4-1)
Wednesday, Oct. 14th, 7:00 pm, ESPN (HD)
This game is not until next Wednesday, but this looks to be a great match-up between the top teams in the WAC and C-USA conferences.

No. 7 USC (4-1) is on bye
An off week for the Trojans after a big win at Cal, but they open right back up on the road with a tough game against the Irish in South Bend next week.

No. 8 Cincinnati (5-0) at No. 23 South Florida (5-0)
Thursday, Oct. 15, 6:30 pm, ESPN (HD)
Yes, you read that correctly, the Bearcats are indeed ranked No. 8. Their next game isn’t until Thursday, October 15, where the smart money is on Cincy falling to a very dangerous and undefeated South Florida squad on the road.

No. 9 Ohio State (4-1) vs. Wisconsin (5-0)
Saturday, Oct. 10, 2:30 pm, ESPN / ABC (HD)
A big game for the Big Ten this weekend as the Badgers take their undefeated record to The Shoe in hopes of burying the Buckeyes back into the middle of the Big Ten race. Ohio State has only allowed 59 points through three games this season and only 14 in the past three. The Wisco run offense vs. Ohio St run defense will be the key to this game.

No. 10 TCU (4-0) at Air Force (3-2)
Saturday, Oct. 10, 6:30 pm CBSC (HD)
Two of the top rushing offenses in the nation will be battling it out in Colorado Springs this weekend. The Horned Frogs are no. 13 in the land, while the Falcons sit at no. 2. TCU looks to remain the only unbeaten team in the MWC conference.
As we mention on a weekly basis, no team or cheerleader is safe as they appear on COED’s college football preview. A top 10 ranking has been a gauntlet for teams to stay on pace for a shot at a BCS bowl, as four more top 10 teams fell last week (10 total in four weeks) – Mississippi, Penn State, California, and Miami (FL) – and Cal got absolutely shattered by Oregon. (more…)
After an excellent Week Three that saw the perpetually overrated USC Trojans drop out of the top 10 after falling to an unranked Washington team and an enormous leap by Miami into the nine-slot after slaughtering a talented Georgia Tech team, we look forward to an even better week as conference play opens up across the rest of the college football nation. Cheerleaders beware, this is a dangerous week for upsets since only one of the top 10 teams will be facing a ranked opponent. (more…)
Knob Creek is the home of the largest military weaponry show and machine gun shoot. It’s located, I sh!t you not, in Bullit County Kentucky. This is where good ol’ folks like to blow things up REAL GOOD. I spent a weekend at this blessed event. And here’s some weaponry fun you can have.
Like a giant video game, the shooting range is scattered with shot-up cars, large wooden spools and, for some reason, ovens. Large American flags flap proudly over the shooting area. Safety standards are an afterthought. A spray-painted red line designates where the large, surging crowd should stand as numerous assault weapons spray bullets. One guy fires too soon, spraying bullets just feet in front of him. A loaded clip falls out of the magazine of another. Shells fly everywhere. The orange-shirted security personnel are the only people without guns.
Three vendors rent a multitude of assault weapons and machine guns — everything from M16s to AK47s. It’s time to blow some sh!t up! (more…)
We ran across Ollie on tour in Louisville, Kentucky two years ago to the day. Invaluable lessons like these are not taught in school, so all you aspiring young pimps out there best listen up. Take for instance Ollie’s rule about shacking up in the Ponderosa with the King Pimp:
“If you get hungry, buy ya something, but the d*ck is free… no what I’m saying? There’s nothing in my refridge. I can’t cook. I don’t have a f**king maid… but, the good news is that the d*ck is free.”
I for one have taken Ollie’s advice to the letter and I have to say, my home life has never been better. Thanks Ollie.
Why aren’t people still up in arms about girls flaunting their drunken madness on Facebook?
The topic was hot as a pistol – covered by almost every news source just days after the controversial group “30 Reasons Girls Should Call It A Night” was created, but now, almost a year later, the drama has subsided.
It’s time to rustle some feathers by unleashing our infamous and well commented COED post back into the wild for a whole new batch of COED users to enjoy.
It’s almost the weekend and that means you’re only hours from sitting on your couch, eating bags of Doritos and watching as much football as your beer-addled brain can handle. And if it doesn’t mean that, you’re doing something wrong with your life. To prepare you for this week’s game line-up, we’ve put together a prediction run-down of all the big games, all with the help of some sexy cheerleaders. Hut, hut, HIKE!

Every two years the best golfers from the United States and Europe compete in a three day competition for the coveted Ryder Cup. Before 1979 the United States absolutely dominated the competition but recently the Europeans have owned the cup. Since 1997 the Europeans have won the Ryder Cup four out of the last five matches. This year’s American team boasts six rookies to the squad making the United States an underdog for the first time. Here are a few reasons why the United States will prevail over the Europeans at Valhalla: (more…)
