This here is a short film by Where the Wild Things Are director, Spike Jonze called “We Were Once a Fairy Tale.” It stars Kanye West and, not-surprisingly, is entirely about Kanye West. What is surprising, however, is what the film is about. Basically, the plot is that Kanye West realizes he’s a super-douche, and in the end, kills his own ego. I’m not so sure making a movie about someone is a good way to make them humble. But if it works, it works. I’m very skeptical. The movie’s definitely worth a watch.
The Internet is literally filled with jackasses. Their misfortunes and apparent retardation are a large part of what keeps people coming back. Here are the 15 people we here at COED think, for one reason or another, deserve a spot in the history books under “Biggest Internet Jackasses of All-time.” Enjoy.
NOTE: We did not include anyone who makes their living being a jackass on the Internet. Only amateurs allowed. (more…)

You know, I can’t remember the last time I hear a rap song I gave a crap about. I’m sure it’s out there, but after Kaye turned himself into an egomanical douchebag, I stopped listening to the radio, altogether. So when I came across this video of a kid tapping a bangin’ beat with his pencils while spitting good rhymes, it was a breath of fresh air.

With a ton of badass bands on the line-up and extra perks like a computer room for bloggers and complimentary adult beverages, there’s no question that the coolest spot at this year’s South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival is definitely the exclusive Levi’s/FADER Fort (1101 E. 5th Street between San Marcos & Waller). And tomorrow night, it’s going to get a lot better: We just received confirmation from a very in-the-know, anonymous source that Kanye West is confirmedto play the Fader Fort Saturday night at 8:45pm, putting to rest what has to be the biggestrumor of SXSW 2009.
Of course, some of you might not be satisfied with an anonymous source as “confirmation”. And believe us, we’d absolutely love to tell you how we have this information. But we’re not allowed. However, we can promise you that the Levi’s Fader Fort is where we’ll be Saturday night.
