Whisky, Tequila, and Vodka… Not only are these probable names of my unborn children, but they’re also what we happen to be reviewing this week on Drinks of the Week. First on the docket is Jose Cuervo Platino – Cuervo’s only silver tequila. Batting second is a single malt whisky from High Spirits Distillery. And last but not least we take an in-depth look a Bison Grass Vodka, which actually has a blade of grass in the bottle. So what are you waiting for? Check out our reviews and drink recipes after the jump!

Yesterday, we hit up Times Square to interview Kevin Love and check out his volleyball skills since he’ll be joining the Jose Cuervo Pro Beach Volleyball series. While we waited we ogled the volleyball ladies doing their thing. When the time came, we chatted with the All-Star about Wilt’s rebound record and record with the ladies. We also found out K-Love’s got a new girlfriend. Get the full details after the jumpshot.

Minnesota Timberwolves’ All-Star Kevin Love announced today that he will be spending his days on the beach (playing volleyball) during the lockout. Jose Cuervo is now the title sponsor of the Pro Beach Volleyball series, so they figured it would be a great time to show off two of their other stars: Jess Gysin (hottest college athlete of 2008) and Christal Engle. I was there to talk to Kevin Love (interview to come), but I had to wait for an hour or two to get my chance. Why wasn’t I upset about the delay? Because the view was fan-f*cking-tastic. Check out what I’m talking about after the jump.

Leave it to America to declare a national holiday for something that originated in Mexico. And why wouldn’t we? Especially when it brings so much joy and bridge generational gaps. Like any strange creature from a strange land, tequila can teach you something new and emphasize the importance of variety .

Spring break is time to get away from school, responsibilities and the mundane. But while it is a time to let loose, there are some rules that should be followed that will help make your vacation safe, fun and keep you as happy and popular as Tequila in Mexico.

We’ve all been there…sworn off drinking tequila ever again after a hard night out and a few too many peer-pressure-induced shots of Cuervo Gold. But the truth is, it’s not tequila’s fault. It’s Jose’s.
For years Cuervo has been literally shoving Gold Mixto down our throats and calling i… Click to read more
