This could be the most highly anticipated film of 2012. If you’re not familiar with the trilogy written by Suzanne Collins, it’s a sci-fi action drama centering around a nationally televised event in which 12 teens fight to the death. Just like high school. The film is directed by Gary Ross (not Glengarry Glen Ross, that would be the t*ts) and stars Jennifer Lawrence (X-Men: First Class, Winter’s Bone), Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth (Thor). Other cast includes: Woody Harrelson as a drunk mentor with a sh*tty 90s haircut, Elizabeth Banks looking like the girlfriend of Johnny Depp’s Willy Wonka, Donald Sutherland, and Lenny f***ing Kravitz looking like Lenny f***ing Kravitz. Stop the presses. Jennifer Lawrence is my new favorite emerging hottie in Hollywood. I actually broke a sweat watching video from her Esquire photo shoot. We felt like the video just wasn’t enough, so we took some screen grabs to preserve the precious “little moments” that make someone like Jennifer such a pleasure to have around. The Oscars race just got a whole lot hotter thanks to the 20-year-old actress from Louisville who who’s been nominated for Best Actress for her role in Winter’s Bone.
