I’m the last guy on Earth to be critiquing women’s fashion, but what in the holy F*** were the ladies who attended last night’s AMAs thinking? With the exceptions of maybe Selena Gomez, Bleona Qereti, and David Hasselhoff’s girlfriend Hayley Roberts, the red carpet was really lackluster. I didn’t watch the telecast because I was busy witnessing the Giants sh*t the bed but is the T&A at the AMAs always this lame? Maybe it’s because I’m hungover and bitter about Big Blue’s loss or maybe I’ve gone criminally insane. Take a look and vote in our poll after the jump.

Just who in the holy hellscape is Alexander McQueen? Well, he was a British fashion designer who was chief designer at Givenchy before founding his own label. He won 4 British Designer of the Year awards as well as International Designer of the Year. Unfortunately, he passed in February 2010. But, his legacy still lives on as evidenced by the startling turnout of A-list celebrities at his Savage Beauty Costume Institute Gala held at the Met last night. We say, “startling” because we don’t even see this kind of top notch celebrity attendance at the Super Bowl, Grammys, Oscars, and Emmys combined. Don’t believe us? We’ve been pretty nostalgic here at COED lately. Earlier today, we showed you candid pics from the 61st and 62nd Academy Awards. In early February, we showed you yearbook photos of a former fat kid turned skinny rock star comedian and a beautiful blonde who went from hoodies to hot hand bras. Now, we turn our attention to the music industry with yearbook photos of 41 famous “rock stars”. While you may notice not everyone in our gallery can be categorized as “rock”, you have to admit they underwent a “rock star” transformation. The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards took place last night. Lady Antebellum and Arcade Fire took home Record of the Year and Album of the Year respectively last night while Eminem, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Train, The Black Keys, and Rihanna also took home hardware. There were some great performances – most notably Cee-Lo‘s peacock outfit worn during his Muppets rendition of “F*** You” featuring Gwyneth Paltrow and Eminem’s mash-up of Love the Way You Lie featuring Rihanna and Adam Levine blended with I Need a Doctor featuring Skylar Grey and Dr. Dre (one of our Songs of the Week). The ladies looked lovely – with the exception of Lady Gaga who looked like the devil’s daughter with pointy shoulders and mini-horns cropping up on her forehead.
